Spring Break - Day 1

Friday night we ate dinner with Grandma at Market Street and then went shopping at Sam's and Costco while Matt worked late.
Saturday was a girls only day with the Bishops!

We picked them up bright and early to go see the Butterfly Exhibit at the Science Spectrum.
Wouldn't you know it . . . the butterflies immediately landed on Madi!
The one person a little unsure of them landing on her!
We think they must've loved her pink colored shirt so she quickly put on her jacket for the rest of the time.

 Adyson loved holding the butterflies!
 So did sweet Aubyn.
 We hunted and hunted.
I think we found 7 or 8 different species of butterflies according to our brochure.
Madi finally worked up the courage to hold one on her own!

After we left the exhibit they had fun butterfly crafts and activities for the girls to do.

We were hungry after all the fun so we had lunch at McAlister's then played at Guy Park.
Before we left the park (over 2 hours later!) we had to visit the water.
 And climb a huge tree!
What a great picture!  We didn't even ask them to pose like this.  We were nervous wrecks until they were down on the ground safely again.
Saturday evening the fun continued with dinner at Blue Sky with the Isbells and Foleys.
Then we bowled late into the night!
 Our cute bowling shoes!
Late night bowling, Daylight Saving time plus earlier than normal breakfast at church equals a family full of tired Heiders!
