Senior Yearbook Pictures!

I was shocked when there was information on scheduling Senior yearbook photos on the end of Junior year newsletter.
But we like to get things done early in the Heider house so we signed up for pictures last Monday.
It was a super quick session and they let me take candid pictures on the side.

As we got home, Madi asked me if I teared up.  I told her no that this type of stuff is fun to me.  Now when she moves out of the house, that might be a different story. :)
Such a beautiful 2026 Senior!

Bye, Again, Jamaica!

We just thought Thursday was our last day in Jamaica.  After our flight was delayed over and over, it was finally cancelled.  So they put us up in the Dreams resort by the airport.
It wasn't ideal but it was fun to see another part of Jamaica and experience a different resort.  Matt and I relaxed after a crazy day while these two went to the gym then met us for dinner.
Thankfully, they bought new shirts in the airport the day before. :)
Heading out again in their matching Jamaica shirts!
Thankfully, our flight took off on time and we landed in Dallas around 2:15pm.  Unfortunately, the next flight out to Lubbock that had seats available wasn't until 11pm.  So, we rented a car and drove home.  We made it home around 9:30pm so it wasn't too bad. :)

Bye, Jamaica!

When we got back to the resort after parasailing, Madi and Hunter went kayaking.

We enjoyed the infinity pool after more beach time, then a yummy late lunch.
We cleaned up then had a drink before dinner.

Admiring the views one last time on the way to dinner.

Our last dinner was the Mexican restaurant and it was my favorite!

One last picture of our patio and pool before heading to the airport.
We will definitely be back!

Parasailing in Jamaica!

Our driver taking us parasailing said we had to stop for a cheesy tourist picture at the Negril sign
They had the coolest car boats when we arrived! Wish we would have known about these so we could do them too.  Next time!
Ready to parasail!  One was excited, one was nervous.  Can you tell which was which?
Getting it all ready . . .

Up they go!

It was amazing how well controlled it was and how soft they landed!  The shark comment was hilarious. Madi didn't think so though. :)

Back in the boat safe and sound! Madi was glad she did it once it was over. :)

Jamaican Days!

Monday these two enjoyed the pool!

Matt and I loved spending the day on the beach!
Ready for dinner!  We at the Italian restaurant and all loved it!

We loved getting ice cream after dinner then heading to the nightly show.

Tuesday was another beautiful beach day!

Madi and Hunter joined in on beach volleyball and had a blast!

During the afternoon rain, Matt and I grabbed some jerk chicken and then found a cute little bar area to sit and visit with other guests.

I found this on the beach and finally figured out it is a mongoose that were brought to the island to get rid of the snakes.
That afternoon, Madi and Hunter had fun pedal boating around!

Dinner Tuesday night was at the Jamaican restaurant!

We really have enjoyed the food more at this resort than most in the past!
