Awards & Wisdom Teeth

The season is over but the awards keep coming!

Her 17 year old well check with Dr. Rogers.  She may see a new doctor next year since she'll be 18. Time went fast!
Matt and I were shopping at Sam's and saw this. Had to send it to Madi. :)
No better time to get your wisdom teeth out than right before Thanksgiving break!
She did great and only has a little swelling!
Cousins Archer and Leo had their tonsils out the next day so we sent ice cream to them to help along their recovery!

Madi pretty much rested for Thursday and Friday but thankfully she felt up to going to Holiday Happenings with me on Saturday!
Shopping is always fun!
She wouldn't let me take her picture on Saturday but the swelling was almost gone on Sunday so thankfully she went to church!
She didn't want to smile, says it hurts, but let me send this picture to Grandma Mayberry when she checked on her after church.

Lots of Celebrating!

Amy, Alyson and I worked out at Red Feather one afternoon. It's nice working outside on good weather days!
Last week we celebrated Amy's 41st birthday doing things she loves!
Eating at great restaurants in small towns! Fred's Garage in Shallowater was so good!
Then boutique shopping in Levelland!

Matt and I celebrated the end of volleyball season with a quick trip to Vegas! Shocking, I know.

We missed Tuck's 16th birthday while we were gone!
Shelle videoed Tuck and Maddie Girlfriend (whose birthday is the day after Tuck/Cody's) opening their gifts from us at lunch.
I think he loved his basketball shoes from us!
And we hope she loved all the fun nurse stuff, pens and Sol De Janeiro bath products!
Being silly on Snapchat with Madi.
We celebrated Carrie's 50th birthday last Thursday at Double Nickel.

Such a great time with friends as always!
It's a slower week with Thanksgiving coming up so this guy has treated me to many happy hours!
At Candlebar . . .
And at Red Feather . . .
We moved the hot tub around the corner on our patio and needed a narrow side table for our coffee, phones, etc.  I looked everywhere and couldn't find one with the right dimensions.  Grandpa Mayberry to the rescue!
He made it in one day and it fits perfectly!

Playoff Season

After winning district, we had a pick up game in Tascosa that Friday.
We weren't allowed to film sadly.  We didn't win but did take a set off of them and learned a lot!
The volleyball girls cheering on the football team!
Our shirts came in right in time for the first playoff game!

The first playoff game was against Brock.  The school had a great send off for the girls on Tuesday, November 5th!
All the students came out  with the band, mascot and cheerleaders leading the way!

It was a little windy but we had to get a quick picture before they left!

A bunch of the moms decorated the bus and left them some treats to enjoy!

Love the announcement!
Almost game time! No filming again.
We won!  It was awesome!

They did a great right up of the game!

Our next game was a quick turnaround playing two nights later against Eagle Mountain Saginaw out of Fort Worth.
Again no filming and sadly we lost in 5 sets.  The last set was 15-11. So close!  We were all pretty sad.
But I still found joy in the cute little curls that pop out everywhere on Madi when she's playing hard!
Super sad for the season to be over, but loved every minute of cheering these girls on!
