Weekend Events!

On Friday, we hosted a baby shower for one of our Site Coordinator's Denise.
She should be in this picture with us touching her belly but her early morning doctor appointment sent her to the hospital to have her sweet girl!

Sadly, we had to celebrate without her.
Casey got this picture with me right in the middle of laughing!
Casey is definitely the hostess with the "most"ess!
 The food was so good!

Saturday morning Matt headed off to his golf tournament and Madi and I headed out for a long bike ride!
We ran into her friend Devyn on our ride so Madi ended up playing at Devyn's house all morning and into the afternoon.
As soon as Matt got home from the golf tournament, it was time for us to get dressed and ready for fall family pictures!
We took a few of our own while we waited for our turn.

Then Saturday evening after dinner we went on a LONG (over 6 miles I think) bike ride around the front 9 holes at the golf course.
We were all ready for bed that night for sure!

Another Short Week!

Up and early Monday morning!
Monday after school we skipped swim practice and went to Lauren's house so Madi, Maisen and Lauren could swim one last day this summer and the moms could visit poolside!
The girls obviously had a blast!
Tuesday
Wednesday
Acting silly on the way to church.
Thursday
We met the Kings and Daniels for dinner at Blue Sky since they were having a fundraiser for Central Elementary.  It was a fun time of visiting while the kids all played outside.
Cooper has a student holiday tomorrow so we're going to enjoy a nice long weekend!

Weekend Fun!

Saturday morning, while Matt was golfing Madi had her friend Gracie over to play.  It's nice when we can bike ride over to her house and pick her up.
Saturday afternoon, we cheered on Tucker's soccer team The Rattlers!
He's playing goalie here.
Madi & Maci had fun playing while we watched the game.
Saturday evening the whole Foley family came to our house for a cookout and to watch the Tech game.  The kids played and played while we sat in the hot tub and watched Tech WIN!
Sunday our church had a Back-to-Church event to invite people to come to our church.
Our Sunday school class worked the snow cone stand!
We ate yummy hamburgers, got a balloon animal then tackled the rock wall!
She made it to the top in no time!

 Bounce houses were up next!
Rare family photo of all 3 of us!

Then we headed home for a nice family afternoon!

Lubbock-Cooper Homecoming Week!

Each day this week is a dress up day to celebrate the upcoming Homecoming game on Friday.
Monday was Neon Day!
Tuesday was crazy hair and crazy dress day!  She has colored hair too!
On Tuesday, we celebrated our co-worker Donna's 50th birthday by having lunch at the Tech Club.
It was a great time celebrating!
 Wednesday was Super Hero Day!

Styling on the way to church Wednesday night!
 Thursday was Inside Out Day!
She picked a skirt that Grandma Heider made because she loved how it looked inside out!
Friday was Red & Black Day!
Madi's science teacher Mrs. Jones sent us these pictures of the kids making root beer floats since they just finished learning about solids, liquids and gases.
I had to be sneaky to get the root beer into school without Madi knowing that morning.  :)
I had a Friday afternoon meeting so Matt picked Madi up from school and off they went on a bike ride.
Which landed them at Cup of Yo for an after school treat!
As soon as I got home she had to show me her "trick!"
It was such a great week but I'm definitely looking forward to our weekend!

Riding through another week . . .

Tuesday morning - ready to start the short week!
On our way to swim Tuesday night we saw the brightest rainbow.
 Wednesday
I met a friend for coffee Wednesday morning and saw these Venus Fly Trap plants at Market St.  I didn't buy one then but took a picture to remember to get one soon for Madi.
 Thursday
 Friday was picture day!
She showed us her smile she was going to give for pictures.  I bet they're cute!
Friday afternoons/evenings have become our favorite time of the week.
Matt has supper going on the grill, Madi is playing or reading in her hammock.
And I'm enjoying the whole scene from my spot on the patio.
Saturday morning we visited the 9-11 memorial for Madi's social studies' class.
It's a beautiful reminder of what was lost that day.

Saturday afternoon we headed to a new cupcake place in town called The Ruffled Cup to celebrate Maisen's 9th birthday.
They had adorable personalized aprons to wear as they learned how to decorate cupcakes.
They made one to eat and one to take home then played games.
The birthday girl and her big sister Maygen!
Saturday evening our nightly bike ride turned into an adventure as we crossed 98th street and rode through the golf course.
Not a bad view at all!
That night while Matt was watching the Tech game get started . . .
I enjoyed watching Full House with my girl in the hot tub!
