I got a text from Matt Thursday night while I was at church asking if the TV acted weird that afternoon. We didn't have it on for long before it was time to take Madi to piano and for me to go to our Ladies Night Out at church.
Unfortunately, it died so we had to get a new TV. I don't think Matt was too sad since he mentioned a while back about wanting a bigger TV for our living room. :)
Madi loves to go get Maci from her Sunday School class before big church.
I love seeing the cousins walking hand in hand into church.
Our Sunday school class had a picnic, park social right after our service. We grabbed Subway for lunch and headed to Vintage's park. The kids had a blast!
Tripp, Tucker and Maci spent the rest of Sunday with us.
They thought taking our dogs on a walk was the best idea ever.
And there were even a few disagreements about who got to hold which dog's leash.
But overall we had a great long afternoon walk around our neighborhood.
Maci thought she was BIG time walking her own dog.
Then they played hockey and skating.
Aunt Shelle and Uncle Cody showed up around dinner time so we decided to grill out pork chops and zucchini. We all said we wished it was summer already so the kids could stay over and play longer!
Monday morning it was raining pretty heavily so we snapped a pic indoors
Tuesday
Wednesday
My mom and Maci visited my cousin Klay and his girls Elora and Kiran Wednesday morning before meeting me and Shelle for lunch.
The girls will be two in July already!
Thursday was pajama day at school.
Madi's class planted seed and grew grass in a cup at school. She brought it home on Thursday and immediately wanted to re-pot it.
I had to go to Austin for work on Friday so I asked my mom if she wanted to tag along since I have a companion pass. We couldn't believe our luck! We got the ugliest green rental car to drive around Austin.
After the TEA symposium, I had to take her to Jack Allen's for lunch. The guacamole is so good!
Then we shopped for hours and hours! My mom bought the kids these cool rings that they can swim through this summer at the pool.
Matt sent me a Friday morning picture of Madi.
After he picked her up from school, she went back to his office with him.
He said she wanted to make a "HERE" sign for him so people would know when he was there and not there. :)
She also made other pictures to decorate his office.
She wanted to eat somewhere with peanuts so they went to Five Guys for dinner.
My mom and I got in pretty late because of the weather. But thankfully we made it back because we kept Tripp, Tuck and Maci while Aunt Shelle took the practice Principal exam.
The kids had a blast playing hockey outside.
Then we went on a little adventure to the Prairie Dog Town in Mackenzie Park.
It was a neat place with prairie dogs all around. They came right up to the edge.
This one found some bread that a person threw at him.
Loving the sun on a fun Saturday! We stopped at the park afterwards too.
Grandma Mayberry found Madi a neat nail art painting kit while in Austin.
We tried to paint the puppy like the one in the book. Pretty close!
Busy week and I don't the next few have any plans of slowing down! Until summer, that is!
