Our Big Girl!

It's obvious from previous posts that Madi loves to get inside things. But I never thought she'd try to get inside the shoe box of the sandals I just bought. It didn't seem to work at first, but she finally fit all the way in. Too funny!

This is my and Madi's idea of HAPPY HOUR! Vanilla Coke from Sonic. Madi loves to carry around the cup and eat the ice.

Our big girl is now sitting at the table with us. Bye-bye highchair! She loves being with us and eating like a big girl!

Spring Break . . . Nebraska here we come!

We made a quick trip to Nebraska over Spring Break to see some of Matt's family.

We had so much fun visiting with family and seeing the beautiful state of Nebraska.

What Grandpas are for!

Madi loves to wash her hands in the sink like a big girl. So I asked my dad to make her a step with very specific dimensions (it had to fit in front of the sink and allow the door to shut at the same time). Well, a few days later and our step arrived.

I still need to paint it, but Madi LOVES it!

Proud, Proud Aunt

No, no one had a baby. I'm just super proud of our niece Morgan, Shelle and Cody's daughter.

We just got a calling saying that Morgan was the only student in her grade level and ENTIRE school to make a 100 on both of her TAKS tests.

17 Months on the 17th!

Our little Madi turned 17 months on March 17th. Where has the time gone?

Cousin Tucker turned 4 months on the 18th.

These are from a few weeks ago (I'm WAY behind on my blogging) but are too cute to pass up.

As I've said before, Madi LOVES the park. I have no doubt that living near a park has advantages and disadvantages. It's nice to go occasionally but we know that Madi will want to go everytime she sees it as she gets older!
