Vegas!

 Thursday evening we took Madi to her friend's house for the night and headed to the airport!

On the plane . . . 

 We entertained ourselves by completing the hard crossword puzzle and Sodoku puzzles!

The girls shopped on Friday morning while the guys gambled.

 Then we met for an early dinner at Ri Ra before going to our magician show.

 We did a little hat shopping for Eddie before heading to the show.

  We had great seats at The Imaginarium!

 We had to go for dessert late that night.  Nothing better than yummy bread pudding!

  Saturday morning was spent in the casinos!

 

 Eddie picked Pizza Rock (pictured in the background) for his birthday lunch! 

 Saturday afternoon we went to Lock Down and escaped in record time!

 Eddie wanted to play the horses too for his birthday. 

 I loved the horses.  I could have stayed all day watching them.

 Saturday night we ate a nice Italian Steakhouse, Andiamo's.

 Back at the airport . . .

 Sad to leave Vegas but so excited to see our kids!

Madi loved spending the night with a friend especially on a school night.

Then the rest of the weekend she spent with her cousins.

Aunt Shelle said she loved it because they ate at her favorite restaurants, Fazoli's and Freddy's, and then she requested Hamburger Helper which Shelle made for her so she was one happy girl! 

We had a blast and are already planning our next trip!

3 Day Week

 After the busy weekend Madi had, her pups sure missed her.  But then she ended up spending the night on Sunday with the Foleys since there wasn't school on Monday. 

 Monday we met the cousins for lunch with Grandma and Grandma B.  Then we went back to their house to play and visit.  Tripp is in one of his friend's quincinera in March.  I just had to get a picture of him with his bow tie on!  Too cute!

It was really a 4 day week for Madi but we left for Vegas Thursday night so more to come soon!

Full & Fun Weekend

 We decided to stay in Friday and have a relaxing evening since we have had such a crazy few weeks.

Saturday, while Matt worked we picked up Gracie and went to Altitude so the girls could jump.  Then we watched Tucker play a basketball game and had lunch with the cousins at Rosa's.  Gracie and Madi ended their play date with watching a show in the hot tub!

 Saturday evening, we met the Foleys at the Mize's house for dinner and games.  Then all the girls spent the night with the Mize girls.  That made for 9 kids at their house and 8 spending the night!

 They fed them breakfast and got everyone ready for church!  Madi had a blast!

 After church, we met Aunt Shelle & Uncle Cody plus the cousins for lunch. 

The plan was for the girls to go swimming at Bodyworks but after visiting so long everyone was tired so we decided to go home and rest.  No school for the kids tomorrow so I'm sure we'll find something fun to do!

Valentine's Week

 Madi's Sunday school class partnered with younger kids as they walked around the church on Sunday handing out hugs and heart stickers.  Madi thought it was funny to cover her face in stickers until it came time to pull them off.  Then it hurt a little more than she thought!

 Unfortunately, I came down with the stomach bug Sunday afternoon while helping Aunt Shelle organize Maci's closet.  So Monday morning there was no picture as I took Madi to school then came home to log on to my call.  

Tuesday

 We had our annual Valentine's Dinner Tuesday night since we have church on the actual day. We love to light candles, grill steak and Lammer's taters and watch a family movie to celebrate the love day!

 We also have a tradition of writing one thing we love about Madi on a heart and posting it to her door each morning starting on the 1st of February leading up to Valentine's Day.  This year Grandma and Aunt Shelle shared what they love about Madi too.

 A cute monkey and XOXO chocolates awaited Madi at the breakfast table! 

 Wednesday - Madi wore the cute sweater that she picked out for Valentine's with Grandma Mayberry.

 I got to her party just in time to see Sidney's dad performing magic tricks.  It's so amazing to watch!

 We ordered Star Wars themed valentine stickers and bags this year.  She made them while I was sick so I didn't get a picture of the whole group.

 We aren't big on celebrating Valentine's Day but it sure is fun to have easy family traditions to make the day special!
