Indiana Visit!

We planned months ago to visit Matt's family in Indiana over Memorial Day weekend. 

Unfortunately, great plans don't always mean good results.  Madi had training and work for her lifeguard position so she wasn't able to join. 

We had to take pictures immediately to show Madi how tall Ethan, Owen and Henry are compared to her dad. 

We had fun just visiting and relaxing the whole weekend. 

Grandma and Grandpa Heider drove us around to learn the area.  It was so fun seeing all the horse and buggies around. 

Never thought of myself as a short person but in the Heider family, I guess I am! 

Headed back home! 

Hunter's family was so kind and included Madi in a bunch of dinners and events while we were away. 

Madi helped make bracelets for Hunter's little leopards.

They went to dinner at one of their family friends and Madi fell in love with all their animals! 

Madi enjoyed a quiet night at home with the pups while we headed home. 

Love seeing all these wonderful memories of the past year at church. 

So much summer and it's not even June yet. :) 

State Bound!

It was fun to watch Hunter's team win and move on to State! 

So happy for him and his team! 

TTU Tour!

Elly doesn't plan on going to Tech but we wanted to show her a true tour of the beautiful campus! We started in my College of Education building which is 25 years old so she could see some of the older and newer buildings. 

We went by the SUB to see some of the art and food options.

Then we went to the Rawls Business College which is a beautiful new building! 

Then we walked through the greenhouse area, the rec center including work out areas, pool, lazy river, etc. 

Then we toured a few dorm options.  It was a fun day!  

I know it's summertime, but it's exciting to see the upcoming season is only a few months away! 

Last Spring League & The Start of Summer!

Madi and I decided to challenge ourselves to try a few of the exercise classes at our gym to change things up.  Barre was first up Monday morning! 

Monday night was Madi's last night of Spring League. 

Hunter came to watch then they went to dinner at Parry's.  Madi sent us these pictures saying she was going to bring home the baby-Biscuit look alike from an animal adoption event going on by the restaurant.  We said NO! 

Tuesday morning we tried virtual spin and liked it! 

Madi went to make her annual Father's Day mug for Matt and Hunter was nice enough to tag along and make something for his dad too. 

Tuesday night we met Tripp and Maddie at Bubba's to celebrate his 22nd birthday on Wednesday! 

Graduation and turning 22 all within a few days of one another!  What a week! 

Spring Piano Recital!

 Last Sunday was Madi's spring piano recital! 

All the songs were beautiful! 

Crazy to think we only have two more recitals left! 

More Baseball!

Last Saturday, we cheered on Hunter and his team! 

They won the first two games!  Two more stops until state! 

Madi relaxed after the game and made a fun homemade pizza recipe!

We went with the Foleys to celebrate Zach's 40th birthday at the Range!

So thankful for such beautiful weather!
