Tripp's Choir Concert

Monday
Monday evening, Madi was invited to a classmate's birthday party at Blazing Bouncers.
She was more than happy to miss swim in order to attend Abigail's birthday party.
They played on the climbing structure and bounce houses the most but they enjoyed the little kids area too!
 Tuesday
"Mom, come take a picture of me please!"
Tuesday evening, we skipped swim again to attend Tripp's choir concert at Frenship High School.
Can't believe he's in 7th grade and almost 13 years old!

Wednesday
  Thursday
 Friday
Tripp then went on a choir trip to Dallas for the weekend.
I asked Shelle if she'd heard from Tripp and if he was having fun and this is what she sent me.  Yep. I'd say he's having a good time at the Dallas mall and Six Flags with all his friends!

Some of our Jane Goodall costume came in the mail so we had to try it on.  :)
Madi had some friends over after school to play then we went to a new member mixer at the country club.  It was nice meeting a lot of new people.  The first person we met was a CPA!

After the mixer, we enjoyed dinner out on the patio of BJs.
And if we're ever in the vicinity of Red Robin (next door to BJs) then Madi wants to ride the bikes!
Bring on another busy, fun weekend!

What a Weekend!

Friday night, Madi spent the evening at the Bishop's house eating pizza, going on a bike ride to Cup of Yo . . .

And writing and performing songs!  She did NOT want to come home!
Saturday, Madi and I did some shopping which let us to Cabela's.
She wants to ask her Daddy for this canoe.  I told her we needed some water nearby first!
The guys were golfing for Grandpa Mayberry's birthday while we shopped then we met for dinner at Blue Sky!
Saturday evening Madi went to Sidney's "almost sleepover" birthday party at Embassy Suites.
They had so much fun swimming!
And Sidney's mom planned a fun scavenger hunt for the girls to complete all around the hotel.

A yummy dinner of Chick-fila nuggets and fruit.
And the grand finale of feeding the fish as we picked them up.  Again she did NOT want to leave.
Sunday after church we headed to Roswell for the day.

We couldn't pass up the opportunity to see The Little Mermaid play with this group!
After the play Madi didn't want to go meet the characters but she just loved the girl that played Flounder.
 It was a great production!
Matt and Cody played golf and had a fun day too!

Surprise Lunch Date!

 Monday
Madi drew a picture for Aunt Shelle of their new cat Snow.  :)
 Tuesday
We traveled to Amarillo on Tuesday to meet with our state representatives, congressmen, and the community college deans in an attempt to bring them Tech Teach.
Our Dean picked a dive he saw on TV called Coyote Bluff burgers for lunch.  It was great!

 Tumbling time!

Madi's teacher sent home this picture from a few weeks back when Grandma Mayberry joined Madi for lunch and the book fair.  Such a cute picture!
We enjoyed the beautiful evening by talking a walk/bike ride around our neighborhood.
 Friday
Matt's firm takes the Friday after tax day off so he enjoyed the day by studying and taking this cute girl lunch.
He said she was very surprised and loved having a special visitor for lunch!

I Finally Did It!

Once we got our membership at Lakeridge Country Club, I finally told Matt I would join in the golfing game!
Madi was so happy to have both of us there while we golfed Sunday afternoon.
Plus I got to spend the afternoon with this guy! Not too bad!
I think we only made it 7 holes before we headed home to grill out for dinner.
But we all had a blast!  Plus I didn't hit any houses, windows or cars!
