Always a Lady!

For Halloween, Madi wore Morgan's old ladybug costume. We didn't do much this year, just went trick or treating at Aunt Bev's house. Maybe next year, she'll drag us all around town looking for candy!

Not Quite Long Enough!

Madi and I were playing in her room this week and I decided to test out the new hair dillies from Grandma. Matt's mom gave Madi these adorable hair things that have bows and buttons for her birthday. They are so cute. Anyways, I got her hair in them, but let's just say that I think it'll be a while before she wears them out!

Daddy's Idea of Breakfast!

I don't have a problem with giving Madi an occasional doughnut for breakfast, but I would only give her a GLAZED one and not a chocolate one or THIS happens! Luckily, she didn't make too big of a mess!

Matt's 30th Birthday!

We had some friends over to help celebrate Matt turning the BIG 3-0! We cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and of course had cupcakes and ice cream . Madison loved the balloons!

Mommy's Helper Strikes Again!

After putting away the dishes, I was surprised when I turned around and found this! I couldn't believe she was all the way up on the door of the dishwasher taking dishes out. She didn't even looked shocked when I found her.

Butterfly Socks

Grandma Mayberry got Madi these cute butterfly socks. She couldn't take her eyes off of them!

Game Day!

Madi went to see her daddy coach football for the first time last Monday. She wouldn't look at me at all. She would only look at the grass and her Daddy. The weather was perfect!

Birthday Cake

Grandpa to the rescue! Matt's dad sent me these two precious pictures of Madison eating her birthday cake. As you can see, it wasn't such a hit. She loved squeezing it between her fingers, but didn't want to eat any.

Daddy's Shoulders

There is no place Madi would rather be than on her Daddy's shoulders!

New Trike!

Aunt Shelle and Uncle Cody gave Madi this trike that grows with you for her birthday since we love to take walks at the park. She loved being able to see everything while riding her new trike!

Future American Idol

We borrowed Shelle's American Idol game for the Wii (which I happen to love) and Madi wanted to play too! She wouldn't let go of the microphone and even sang into it. She knew what to do!

More Birthday Celebration!

The evening after Madison's party we went to Laser Tag and dinner at Lujan's to celebrate Aunt Bev's, Uncle Rod's and Daddy's upcoming birthdays. We had so much fun! If you haven't tried Laser Tag yet, go as soon as possible! Aunt Erin, Uncle Cody, Ethan and Owen came along too.

Cousin Visit!

Madi had such a good time with Aunt Erin, Uncle Cody, Ethan and Owen. I think she likes having kids her own age around to play with. Mom and Dad get pretty boring after a while!

1st Birthday Party

My and Matt's family came to town this weekend to celebrate Madison's First Birthday. I'm not sure how much of it Madi actually enjoyed as there was too much going on. She was pretty fussy for most of it, but got some really cute clothes and fun toys. We got a great video of her eating her cake but of course didn't get a picture of it. I think Melanie may have gotten a picture of it so I will share later if that is the case.

Big Girl Car Seat

Madi sat in her big girl car seat for the first time today on the way to church. We loved to see the look of awe on her face the whole way there. No more facing backwards!!!

One Year Old!!!

Madi will hit the one year mark this Friday, October 17th at 9:39am. Matt and I are so blessed to have such a beautiful, sweet little girl!

Pumpkin Patch

Shelle and I took the kids to a local church's pumpkin patch. Tripp and Morgan are so good about holding Madison and trying to make her smile. Madi was amazed by all the pumpkins. Tripp and Morgan even bought Madi her very own lil' Pumpkin!
