Feedin' the Ducks!

Thanks Uncle Cody!
He gave Madi some leftover bread to "go feed the ducks."
She carried that bread around for a day and a half until we FINALLY went Wednesday before lunch and dance class.
She carried it so much that it had a hole in it and bread crumbs everywhere she had been that day.
Good times!
Madi LOVED feeding the ducks.
I was surprised.
She was even upset that she couldn't hold them.
Needless to say, Tucker loved them too!
(Of course, he had to be the only one to step in Duck poop with not one, but BOTH of his shoes. Ugh!)
They were both so sad when the bread ran out so we already have stock piles ready to go again tomorrow afternoon after we hit the pumpkin patch!

Dance Update:
She's really excited about dance still. I wish she'd participate more and watch less but once she gets home she does all the moves. So I guess she's learning and that's all that matters.
Getting in line with her little friends.
A few more Atkins Football pictures . . .

She LOVES watching her Daddy coach football.
But the best part is during halftime when he comes and finds her and she runs down the bleachers to give him a hug!

Morgan's 11th Birthday!

Wow 11 Years!
Happy Birthday Morgan!
They had a party for Morgan at 50th Street Caboose. Everyone had so much fun eating and playing games.
It was also the Tech/UT game that night.
Can you tell . . . . ????
Grandpa & Grandma
Madi & Uncle Rod
Uncle Douge and Aunt Bevie (as Madi calls her)
Taytum, Tripp and Jason
The Scott Family
Tripp & Grandma
Madi and Daddy playing a car game.
We had so much fun!
Happy Birthday Morgan!

Daddy's Lil' Cheerleader!

We went up to Monterey High School to watch Daddy coach his first football game of the season!
We took pictures on the ramp leading to the bleachers so that I wasn't "THAT" mom taking pictures of her kid during the game! Plus running up and down the ramp was Madi's favorite part anyways!

She loved climbing up and down the bleachers and listening to all the kids yell for Atkins. The only part she didn't really like was that her Daddy didn't listen to her when she was talking to him. She told me she wanted to go play football but I told her she was too little. So, when Matt came to say hi during half time that's all she could talk about . . . "Daddy, I don't play football I too big. I promise Daddy I too big!" Not sure what she was saying but it was cute!

Future Photographer???

Madison loves my camera.
It could possibly be because I have it in her face often.
Now she wants to hold the camera WITH the strap around her neck and take pictures.
Of us.
We were taking some "almost" 3 years old pictures of Madi the other evening.
So she told us to smile, say cheese and hold the "3" we were having her hold.
Here's the picture she took of us . . .
It cracks me up! We were laughing so hard at her. Now we know what she feels like when we say over and over "cheese" "smile" . . .
Thursday night was pizza and movie night at the Heider house!
I made a huge enchilada dinner the night before and told Matt I was cooking small the next night. So he suggested pizza, bread sticks, and a movie.
Perfect!
Here we are before the movie eating pizza.
Then Madi took a picture of us . . . not bad!

Saturday morning was Tripp's first flag football game at his church.
I told Matt that I was bringing my camera to get a cute picture of Tripp in his helmet for my mom to have. He just laughed at me. Apparently, kids don't wear helmets in flag football and apparently I have A LOT to learn about football. Ha!
Tucker and Madi had fun kicking around the soccer ball while we watched.
I'm ready . . .
Move back . . .
There . . . perfect!
Got it!

Then they decided to toss it to each other sitting down.
Get ready . . .
SMACK . . . right in the face! And I caught a picture of it!
Here's Tripp #1 (Why #1??? Because he's in 1st grade of course.)

I can't put any captions on these pictures because I apparently have NO CLUE about football.

Morgan took pictures with my camera too . . .
Someone doesn't look too happy to be there.
Then Madi took some pictures too. You can see her in the reflection on my glasses.
The girl likes to get UP CLOSE pictures.
Then she took this one of Morgan.
And this one of Uncle Cody coaching Tripp's team.
Everyone around us was laughing at her because she was yelling "Uncle Cody look at me! Look at me! I'm trying to take your picture! Look at me!"
Come on Fall!

New Shoes

Madi was so excited to wear her new tennis shoes to a playdate today!

We bought them over the summer but of course had no need for them until now.
She couldn't wait to show me how high she could jump and how fast she could run in her new tennis shoes!

(They did this in the mirror at dance last week. Not sure why but she was showing me her dance moves too.)

The girl loves her some new shoes! Just like her Momma I guess! ;)
