My Birthday!

Everyday is special when I get to spend the day with these two!
But my 33rd birthday was special too since my parents came down and we all went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Aunt Bevie and Uncle Douge came too!
Then we all met at Aunt Shelle's house for cake and ice cream.
The kids had a great time playing!
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family!

Doll

Aunt Bevie gave Morgan this doll and made all her clothes many years ago. I was so happy that Shelle gave it to Madi so she could enjoy it too. When asked what she was going to name her, Madi said "Doll, what else?"
Little did our dogs know that they would be wearing the clothes too!
I think it's safe to say that Sue does NOT like wearing the clothes.
But Madi sure loves to dress them up.
These are Sue's pajamas according to Madi.
We got new bowls for the puppies' dry food and Madi wrote all their names so she can take over the chore of feeding them everyday.
We have three LOVED little puppies!

Felt Cookies

I saw a cute idea on a blog to make felt cookies and I thought it would be perfect for Madi on our snowy day a few weeks ago.
You pre-cut all the cookies so a cookie cutter will pop them out then she can decorate them with "icing" and "sprinkles". She used an old cookie sheet to put the cookies on.
We couldn't believe how long she played with the cookies. We made heart and triangle shaped cookies.
Here are a few of the "finished" cookies!

Cousin Day

Aunt Erin had to travel to Dallas for the day so Owen got to spend the day with Madison.

We started our day out at church then Chuck E. Cheese for lunch and a little game playing.
Then we headed to the Science Spectrum.
My sister and kids met us there so it was a Cousin Day for Madi!
Maci is finally getting big enough to join in the fun!
Owen loved EVERY single part of the science spectrum. He kept running back and forth not sure what to play with first!
Madi just had to take her cat with her in the car. I knew my mom would get a kick out it.

The boys played news reporter for a long time. In their future maybe???

There's a little non-walking section for babies. Maci loved seeing her reflection.

It was such a beautiful day that the kids were able to play at the park and out back while dinner was grilling. All in all, it was a great COUSIN day!
