On Sunday, a bunch of us were wearing Christmas colors! I guess we are all ready for the Christmas season!
Matt and I planned to get out of town for a few days so Madi wrote out her schedule on her mirror so she wouldn't forget anything! :) I know where she gets her love of lists from!
Coach Anderson and her family helped get the gym ready so parents could attend a scrimmage this week! Such a cute cleaning service!
Nightly walks with Elly!
Monday night, we hosted the first team dinner with Beth (Abby's mom) at our house. We ordered in Rosa's and Beth made these cute tortilla shaped cookies with green icing and fruit that looked like pico/salsa. So cute and good!
The girls played Spike ball and volleyball in the pool.
I think they all had a good time!
On Tuesday, each student could have two parents attend a scrimmage in their new gym!
I love that she chose Madi's "worm" picture on the advertisement!
We also got to see their varsity banners in the gym! So exciting!
Another parent yelled "that's ludicrous!" at a ref at a game a while back. Well, of course the jokes have been on going with him even being gifted a Ludacris (the rapper) t-shirt. Well, Coach Anderson got in on the phone and had this sign taped to her back while reffing the scrimmage.
Madi played on the red team and they won both sets!
After the scrimmage, all the moms went to decorate their locker room that is now open!
After all that fun, Matt and I snuck away for a quick dinner before heading to the airport.
Madi went to dinner with Maddie (Tripp's girlfriend) then they both worked on homework while we were away.
The next night was more studying after church!
While they were being good students, Matt and I were enjoying a few nights in Vegas!
After two nights, we were excited to get back to our girl!
Madi made this mum in her floral design class. I love that she's already learned quite a few good, new skills.
We are ready for our first district game this weekend! Let's go, Patriots!
