Liberty vs. Childress

We got pictures of the finished locker room!
It turned out so cute with the giant LCP letters and baloons!
And their names are under their locker area that matches their jersey number.

Tuesday night we headed to Childress!
Thankfully, they pulled of their second district win!

And as always, it's fun to read the write ups about Madi and her team mates!

Wednesday nights call for Sonic runs before church!
Ready for more volleyball this weekend!

Cotton & Crude Fest

Saturday evening, we headed to Levelland to go to Cotton & Crude Fest with the Gibbs, Buxkempers, Ellises, and Foleys!
We first went to the VIP room to enjoy yummy dinner!

All 10 adults!  Love this crew.

Then we walked around to see all the vendors and listen to music.
We even danced a little under the stars!
It was a beautiful night to enjoy outside with such good friends!
Grandma Mayberry enjoyed our symphony tickets since we couldn't go and brought home the brochure so we could see Madi's Symphony Debutante picture!
Excited for her to volunteer soon!
Sunday afternoons are for walks to Sonic . . .
And for getting ready for the busy week outside by the pool!
Whew. We need a weekend for our weekend.

Liberty vs. Littlefield

Saturday was our first district volleyball game against Littlefield!
Enjoying a fun brunch to celebrate the first district game!
They played so good and won in 3 sets!

Madi loved her cheering section!
I'm enjoying reading the write ups after each game!

Such a great start to the season!
Let's go, Patriots!

Parties & TTU Volleyball

Madi went to a friend Baylee's 16 birthday party a while back and we just got the pictures.
Love this group of girls!

They took pictures, celebrated . . .

And then painted canvases!

No school on Friday meant the eye doctor for this girl.  Thankfully, she has 20/20.
Friday night, Madi's whole team went to watch the TTU volleyball game.  They won in 5 sets! The parents went out to dinner at a place by campus.
Tuck and Madi went to the fair 11 years ago to the day!  Man time flies!
This was just the start of a busy, busy weekend!

Red vs. Navy Scrimmage & Quick Vegas Trip!

On Sunday, a bunch of us were wearing Christmas colors!  I guess we are all ready for the Christmas season!
Matt and I planned to get out of town for a few days so Madi wrote out her schedule on her mirror so she wouldn't forget anything!  :)  I know where she gets her love of lists from!
Coach Anderson and her family helped get the gym ready so parents could attend a scrimmage this week!  Such a cute cleaning service!
Nightly walks with Elly!
Monday night, we hosted the first team dinner with Beth (Abby's mom) at our house.  We ordered in Rosa's and Beth made these cute tortilla shaped cookies with green icing and fruit that looked like pico/salsa.  So cute and good!

The girls played Spike ball and volleyball in the pool.
I think they all had a good time!
On Tuesday, each student could have two parents attend a scrimmage in their new gym!
I love that she chose Madi's "worm" picture on the advertisement!
We also got to see their varsity banners in the gym! So exciting!

Another parent yelled "that's ludicrous!" at a ref at a game a while back. Well, of course the jokes have been on going with him even being gifted a Ludacris (the rapper) t-shirt.  Well, Coach Anderson got in on the phone and had this sign taped to her back while reffing the scrimmage.

Madi played on the red team and they won both sets!

After the scrimmage, all the moms went to decorate their locker room that is now open!

After all that fun, Matt and I snuck away for a quick dinner before heading to the airport.
Madi went to dinner with Maddie (Tripp's girlfriend) then they both worked on homework while we were away.
The next night was more studying after church!
While they were being good students, Matt and I were enjoying a few nights in Vegas!

After two nights, we were excited to get back to our girl!
Madi made this mum in her floral design class.  I love that she's already learned quite a few good, new skills.
We are ready for our first district game this weekend!  Let's go, Patriots!
