The Fair!

We went to the fair last weekend with my sister's family.

Right when we entered there were all these tractors so of course we had to get a picture with them.
Next . . . to look at all the animals.

I told Tripp that Grandma would love all these animals. So he wanted his picture taken by EVERY animal. It was too funny. I only posted a few but I have a TON on my camera.

Here's another one . . .
By the llama . . .
Then they went into a petting pen. They got to pet goats, sheep and pigs.

They even held baby chicks and ducks.

After snacking on some yummy fair food it was time for the rides!
The weather was nice and cool plus lots of shade which meant that Maci could join us at the fair!
They rode every single kid ride at least once and most of them twice.

These bumper boats were adorable. The water looked so nice I wanted to jump in.

There's Matt right by Madison at all times. Such a protective Daddy!
These were little hot air balloons that rose up high.

This ride just went in a circle but zipped fast on the ends. I thought they'd be a little scared but they weren't.
The canoes were so slow that it was funny to see the kids' faces. We could walk along with them on the "ride."

I think this was the next to last ride we went on. I wasn't sure how fast it dropped but since it was a kid ride we went ahead and put them on it. They seemed to like being up high and seeing the view.

Parents had to ride on the merry-go-round with the kids but we had just bought the kids bracelets so they could ride everything as much as they wanted. So Matt being the nice Daddy that he is bought a ticket just so he could ride it with Madi.
Till next year . . .

Apple Day

We had Apple Day at "school" at Shelle's house.
Madi and Tucker wore apple hats and glued apples to their trees plus they had apples for lunch.
We were planning a field trip to the apple orchard tomorrow but our plans fell through so maybe next week!

Picnic

A few Sundays ago we went to a park to take pictures of Madi since she'll be 4 soon (there's NO way she can already be turning 4!).
And we packed a picnic lunch to enjoy too.
She loved the ducks.
And birds that tried to eat our food.
But most of all she loved being outdoors which equals SMILES for our pictures!
We all decided that we should plan many more picnic lunches.

Morgan's 12th Birthday!

It doesn't seem possible but Morgan turned 12 yesterday!
We celebrated last weekend with lunch and cake.
Madi loved the party hats (that were leftover from a party a long time ago).
We got Morgan an Aero jacket.
Grandpa and Kirk
Uncle Rod with all the kiddos
And sweet Miss Maci
Happy birthday Morgan!
Please stop getting so big!

Soccer Saturday

Tripp's first soccer game was Saturday morning so out we all went to support his team "Thunder!"
Tuck and Madison played a little soccer too.
Got an action kick of Tuck . . .
Most of the time they didn't want to pass the ball to each other.
So Uncle Matt helped them to share the ball.

I told Tucker to put his foot on the ball and pose like a real soccer player. This is what he did . . .
And this was Miss Madison's version . . .
Cody helps coach Tripp's team.
I think Tripp likes having his dad as a coach.
Tripp is number 7. The one with his hands up!
Water break . . . thank goodness it was nice and cool.
Grandma and Maci
Morgan taught the little ones how to do backbends.

Good job Tripp!
