8th Grade Volleyball Pics!

We sure love cheering on our #7 this volleyball season!

Vegas Again!

We started with Giordano's for dinner then went to see Piff the Magic Dragon. 

We had front row seats!

Monday morning we ate breakfast at Mon Ami. 

Then we went to the outlet mall and met up with the guys at the Container Park. 

Then we had dinner at Hugo's.  

For some reason, Bianca thought it was Ashley's birthday so Matt said that when he made the reservations.  We were laughing so hard when they brought her birthday cake to celebrate!  

Tuesday morning, we had breakfast at Hash House then went to Meow Wolf.

It was such a unique experience that I don't really know how to explain it. 

We did find the secret bar at the end though!

Then we escaped Under Pressure! 

Dinner was at Yardbird, that we've never been to before, and it was really good!

We gambled a little more then went to bed so we could fly out Wednesday morning.

Such a fun trip! 

Pizza & More Volleyball!

Tripp joined us for pizza for dinner Monday night!

Then we did a little bit of math homework with a brownie and ice cream, of course! 

Thursday night was Laura Bush verses Frenship Middle School. 

Not the ending we wanted, but Madi continues to make good hits and blocks!

I had a little extra time on Friday so I took this guy a snack and we visited for a while in his work parking lot. 

Friday night was a family date night for dinner.  We ate at World of Beer and played checkers!

We were comparing who could take the best selfie.

After dinner we picked up Jessica so she could stay the night with Madi.  Saturday morning, Matt went to play golf so I took the girls to watch Allison's volleyball tournament. Madi wanted to see what her hair looked like when a band broke. :)

Sunday after church, Madi joined the Lewis family since Matt and I headed to Vegas with the Foleys and Wharffs.

She cheered on Calen!

And they did fun workouts each evening! 

Tuesday night, Aunt Shelle picked Madi up from school so she could stay with them at our house.  Maci had a dentist appointment and an appointment to get a shorter cast put on her arm so they were in town for the night. 

They met Tripp for dinner at Chili's and then went to Target.  They all said they had so much fun! 

First 8th Grade Volleyball Tournament!

 On Friday morning, Madi went to FCA before school.  So thankful she has these opportunities! 

 Although we didn't have the outcome we wanted, Madi had some great hits and blocks during the tournament on Saturday!

Briley brought these cute volleyball cookies for all the girls after the tournament. 

Saturday night, we had over the Devitts, Lewises, and Norrises to watch the Tech game! 

Sunday after church, Madi and I had a mother/daughter event at NCL. 

We listened to a speaker and played fun games!

We are ready for more volleyball this week!

It was a short week that ended with a win against Dunbar on Thursday! 

We sure love our #7!

First Volleyball Game - LBMS vs. Irons!

Thursday, September 2nd was Madi's first 8th grade volleyball of the season! 

They lost the first set but then came back and won the last two! 

It was so much fun watching Madi play the game she loves!

Friday night was a family night complete with dinner at Walk On's then some shopping.  

Madi found a cute dress for the Carrie Underwood concert we're going to in Vegas in December.

Of course, Matt and Madi thought they had to have this baby Yoda!

Madi was practicing her song on the piano for the Christmas recital since she just got her music this week.  Well as we were listening it became very obvious someone was singing along with her. 

Saturday night we had the Lewis family over for dinner, night swimming and to cheer on our Red Raiders!

I found a great slimy, kinetic sand kit for super cheap at Sam's so I had to get it for Maci.  I think it's safe to say she loved it by the size of that smile!

Sunday we relaxed after church then went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner.  Then a bunch of friends came over just to visit and hang out.  The kids played volleyball outside and ping-pong upstairs while the adults visited out back on the patio. 

On Monday, Matt went golfing and Madi and I relaxed in the morning. 
Then that afternoon we met the Devitt, Norris and Lewis families at the movies to see Free Guy.

Monday afternoon/evening, Tripp came by for some math homework help and then joined us for dinner!

It was fun having an extra kiddo at the table with us!
