New Car!

So, Matt got this text during the Shallowater tournament saying my new car was on the trailer being delivered later that morning! 

I stayed to watch the games and he went home to sign for the delivery. 

I kept tabs on him through the ring camera. :) 

Then he sent pictures of the new jag in the garage where she belongs! 

Madi couldn't wait to drive us to our pedicures for some reason. :) 

Such a fun toy to have for a few years while I no longer have to be a mom taxi! 

Shallowater Tournament

The girls left bright and early Friday morning for the Shallowater tournament. 

Madi and all the girls played great!  

The Tullos fam surprised us and came to cheer on Madi! 

We were so excited when they won the whole tournament again! 

That kind of win definitely calls for pedicures when you get home! 

So fun watching Madi play the sport she loves! 

Junior Year!

Thankfully, she humored me and let me take first day of school pictures! 

She suggested I compare 1st grade to 11th grade since next year I'll be comparing Kindergarten to Senior Year!

A friend also sent this picture on FB of Madi & Maisen with friends many years ago! 

She had to take her ID picture too during orientation too.  

Can't believe we're almost done with high school!

Back to Volleyball!

It wasn't an official game but it was fun to see the girls play together again! 

We couldn't believe they lost to Coronado but they were learning new rotations, team members, etc.  Thankfully, they came back and beat Midland High.

Almost time for school!

Volleyball Tryouts & Last Minute Travels!

We ran into quite a few friends at HEB the other day.  Mallory (Matt's cousin) and her boyfriend Brandon plus Brent!  

So fun to catch up! 

Tryouts for school ball started August 5th! 

Madi had a great couple of days then we were excited to see she made Varsity!

I always enjoy seeing all the swag decked out in their lockers! 

On Thursday, we had our summer retreat with my wonderful staff! 

Such a great group of women!

Madi played a few scrimmages on Friday just to knock the dust off! 

Matt and I had planned a quick last minute weekend trip to Vegas to look at new cars for me.  The Norrises decided to be spontaneous and join us!

We didn't take many pictures but man did we find a lot of new amazing restaurants!

While we were gone, Madi's team kidnapped the new players on their team bright and early Sunday morning. 

They dressed them up as babies and took them to a yummy breakfast at Stacked. 

I told Tripp, Madi and Tuck they needed to recreate this picture soon. 

Almost time for school!

Getting Ready for Back to School!

No denying she's my kid.  Matching up her socks as she's cleaning our her closet. 

Last week before tryouts so Madi's been hanging out with friends as much as possible making cakes, playing pickleball and sand volleyball and whatever else they come up with!

Grandma Mayberry went to visit family in Iowa so Madi drove Lala for her morning and afternoon runs at the park. 

It is so fun to watch.  Lala runs, clocking close to 30 mph, as we follow her around the park. 

Our flowers are so beautiful that I just had to take a few pictures!

Kirk, Klay and Klay's girls Elora and Kiran were able to go with Grandma Mayberry to Iowa. 

I went to work for Denver for a few days so Matt got to enjoy the Lala run with Madi after church!

Matt showed me that he was making sure Madi ate well while I was gone!

They tried a new crawfish/shrimp boil place while I was gone too!

I was a little under the weather but Amy and I still enjoyed brunch and a bacon flight before the training started Monday morning. 

Orientation for the fall semester was last Friday and we had Raider Red join us to welcome all the teacher candidates!

Matt and I sent Madi a picture while we were out running errands and stopped for a quick happy hour. 

Tryouts started this week for Madi!  Teams are announced on Wednesday. 

It's also time for a trim.  It worked perfectly for Madi to join during my appointment between her two-a-days schedule. 

Not quite ready to say goodbye to summer, but it's almost here!
