Thanksgiving 2018

The girls curled up on the couch!  I think they like Thanksgiving break too!

The cousin games have started in Jayton. . . Thanksgiving Mad Libs!
Small town living . . . we went with Aunt Shelle to the town store and to fill up her water jugs.  :)

And we may have followed the Schwan's man to ensure we got some ice cream for dessert that night!
 Scavenger hunt up next . . .

Hot chocolate with marshmallows while working on Thanksgiving word unscramble.
 BINGO time!
We got this idea from Girl Scouts.  Without using their hands they had to move all the candy corns from one plate covered in whipped cream to the empty plate.  First one wins!

Messy faces are evidence of the fun!
Relaxing with Daddy after a yummy Thanksgiving lunch.
Friday morning we started a new tradition of going to see a movie together.
Ralph Breaks the Internet and popcorn for lunch!
Madi learned how to play a few of Tucker's games while we were in Jayton so now this is how they "talk" to each other.  :)
After some shopping, a trip to the gym and showers we enjoyed a family patio night!
It doesn't have to be Thanksgiving week to know I'm blessed.

Tucker's 10th Birthday!

We celebrated Tucker's 10th birthday Saturday with lunch at Chick-fila, cookie cake and presents.

Then we took at the kids to Altitude to jump!
On Friday, the Isbells came to visit from Georgetown.  We finally got to meet sweet Jacob!  Madi held him most of the time.  We grilled out and relaxed Friday night.

Saturday night we had a sitter come to the Foleys' house while we went to Triple J for dinner and the piano bar.  It was such a fun night!
We enjoyed Rosa's for lunch after church.
Then we all met back at church Sunday night for our Thanksgiving dinner.
We were able to host the Thanksgiving dinner in our new part of the building.  It was exciting to see!

Hymn Festival

A sweet coworker gave me a thoughtful card and this wonderful fall candle to let me know she's still thinking of me.  It's been a tough fall at work but I'm thankful for my colleagues.
Last Friday night, the Foleys came over for dinner and a game of Wits & Wages.

Saturday morning, Madi has her Hymn Festival where she played her two hymns for a judge.
She did a great job and got feedback from the judge.

Saturday night was little more low key and Devyn spent the night so these two girls had a lot of fun!
Sunday afternoon was girl scouts!
They made Thanksgiving crafts and learned about Veteran's Day.
They also played a few games like Whip Cream and Candy Corns!

It was a fun game and Madi was so proud that she won!

No school on Monday for Madi so she joined me in my office.  And she decorated my white board which everyone loved!
