Dress Up Week!

This was quite possibly the fastest week of my life!
Monday was wearing your PJs to school day!
Tuesday was hat day so Madison said she didn't want to participate.
Wednesday is wear your favorite team's jersey.  Madi loves any excuse to wear her Daddy's Tech football jersey!
Thursday was crazy hair day.  We have pig tails, clips, a head band and our friends the Bishops even sprayed her hair pink for us!  Crazy indeed!
Friday was neon day.  Our church shirt is definitely bright!
Such a fast week that I only took morning pictures!

Weekend Fun!

Madi's last gift Saturday morning was a ping pong game for the dining room table.
It's been such a fun time playing ping pong!
Saturday we went to cheer on Tucker at his basketball game while Matt went to work for a few hours.
Tucker did a great job and was so cute out there on the court!
Madi went home with her cousins for the rest of Saturday afternoon.
She met their new cat Snow.
When Madi came home from her cousins the cousins decided to stay with us for the night!
The boys loved ping pong and we played two games of Clue too.
After bath pictures are my favorite!
Then we ended the night by decorating cute bunny cookies I saw at the store.

A LONG Week Away!

This little girl had some big tears when dropping me off at the airport so her sweet Daddy made sure to stop for Meatballs and Rice ingredients on the way home!
They sent me this picture Sunday evening so I think she was much better by then!
 Monday
Our hotel in Boca Raton was beautiful.  This was the view out my balcony.
There was a restaurant called Farmer's Table where all the umbrellas are that we ate at one night.  The food was amazing and only steps from my room.
Got a sweet update from home!
 Tuesday
Facetiming at the breakfast table.  I'd eat while they ate and we all visited like it was a normal morning.
 Wednesday
She found it easier to lay the phone on the coffee table and talk to me this way . . .
One of her presents was a pictionary game on the go.
So we played a few rounds virtually before heading out that morning.
 Thursday
I snapped a picture of Florida Atlantic University so Madi could see where I was spending my days on inspection.
There was a restaurant called Madison's right across from our hotel that we wanted to try.  Unfortunately, they never had reservations for the times we could make it.  Maybe next year!
On Friday, Madi had Champion's Club at school where they sang karaoke.
A sweet friend sent me this picture of Madi and her microphone!

Valetine's Weekend!

Madi and Maisen went to Art & Company Saturday afternoon.
They both painted cute Valentine Frog pictures.
Heart shaped biscuits is how Madison wants to celebrate Valentine's Day!
Breakfast in Mom & Dad's bed while watching Full House is pretty good too!
We found cute cat earrings that look like the cat goes right through your ear.  So we had to order them for Valentine's Day!
Our church asked us a few weeks back to record the upcoming announcements for Valentine's Day morning.
I was very nervous, but it went well.
I only think we had to do five takes.
And the look of surprise on Madi's face when she saw us up there was worth it!
It was a special way to remember Valentine's Day!
Madi came down with a good case of the Hearts at church!
She wanted to take a "sick" picture too.
Every year on Valentine's Day or the closest weekend the Sunday school classes go around to all the adult Sunday school classes and give out hugs and heart stickers.  It's so sweet seeing all the adults with tons and tons of heart stickers all over them!
 Wow!  Six years ago . . .
Silly, I know.  But I love leaving Madi small (really small) little gifts when I'm going to be gone for so long.
She opens one each morning while facetiming me as we all have breakfast "together"!

Valentine's Week!

We made sure to wear some Valentine and Heart clothes on Monday!
 Tuesday
 Wednesday
Mrs. Skoog messaged me on Wednesday saying Madi had a bad dry cough.  Matt went and got her and after resting most of the afternoon we took Grandma to the new Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a sweet treat!
We ended up going to the doctor Wednesday afternoon to get Madi checked out even though her only symptom was a dry cough.  Sure enough it was strep!  So we stayed home on Thursday.
Thursday afternoon I went up to her school to get ready for the Valentine Party the next day.
All the decorations and snacks were ready!
 Puppy Pile!
All better Friday morning!  Thank goodness for medicine!
 Family picture in Madi's classroom!
Enjoying the yummy waffles and cookies!
Girl Table - Madi, Maisen, Gracie, and Maddie K.
Madi was so happy that her Daddy came and made waffles for the whole class!
After everyone enjoyed the yummy waffle bar we broke out the stations.
Grandma manned the Valentine Bingo, I supervised the craft/puzzle station and other moms helped with the photo booth and Heart Toss stations.
Madi playing Bingo with Conversation Hearts as the counters.

Maisen and Madi at my craft station!

Shay came across the hall and got to be MOM for a few minutes!
 Photo booth FUN!

Madi stayed with Grandma while I went to teach Friday afternoon (it was a half day for Cooper).  They ate lunch with Aunt Shelle and Maci then headed to Tucker's school for his Valentine Party!
And if that wasn't enough fun for one day we spent the evening at the Bishops for dinner and games!
