Thanksgiving 2020

While we were in Vegas, Tripp and his Jayton team won 3rd at the state track meet! 

We got back from Vegas on Tuesday and went straight to the Foleys so we could visit with them and the Buxkempers!

Wednesday we headed to Jayton for Thanksgiving!

Left, Right, Center is a new family favorite!

Thursday we spent the day preparing our Thanksgiving dinner and playing games with the kids! We also took a walk since it was so nice! 

Friday we met the Tullos' for a happy hour to catch up with them and then we went to the Lewis' house for pizza!  Calen, Briley's little brother, just loves Madi so you can find him by her most of the time. :) 

Madi always wants to get the puppies cute outfits.  We found these cute plaid sleep shirts for the girls! 

They didn't know what to think about their new outfits! 

Saturday, Matt and I enjoyed a nice couple's massage then we met up with the Gibbs and Foleys for lunch at Blue Sky. 

Then we all went and saw Croods II at the theater. 

Then we took the girls to the mall to shop while the guys started dinner back at the Foley's house. 

The girls wanted to show us some of their purchases from the mall today. 

I'm so thankful for such good family friends! 

Vegas with the Masi Family!

Saturday of Thanksgiving break we headed to the airport for our flight to Vegas!

Ashlee Mize made these fun Magical Pig shirts for Matt and Madi to wear on our Vegas trips!

We met up with Devyn and Desiree (sadly Brett couldn't come due to work) at our hotel and the first thing the girls wanted to do was a trapped room! 

Then we took the girls shopping . . . 

Sunday

We started our day with breakfast at one of our favorite French restaurants!

Then we did a bit of sight seeing!

And checked out the pool of course . . . 

I had to laugh because the girls were swimming and I was in leggings, a sweatshirt and tennis shoes. 

Another escape room that afternoon before dinner at Giordano's! 

Matt loves Giordano's so it's a must when we go to Vegas!

Monday I took the girls to the outlet mall while Matt and Desiree gambled down town. 

We found a ton of good deals and had a blast! 

That night we had dinner at Joe's and it was so good!  The girls talked us into another trapped room that night. 

Tuesday was our last morning in Vegas so we had to end it with breakfast at Hash House! 

We love Vegas but Vegas with friends is even better! 

Tucker's 12th Birthday & Tripp's Final Football Game

This is how she feels about Monday mornings . . . 

Monday night Aunt Shelle brought Tucker and a few of his friends to town after school so they could celebrate his birthday at 50th Street.  

Madi and I showed up with his cake and candles! 

We had to send him a Happy Birthday text on Wednesday too! 

We were happier about Wednesday it seems!

Madi got a sweet note in the mail from a school board member congratulating her on being named Pirate of the Month. 

Thursday

Thursday night we were able to air play Tripp's last football game on the TV so we could all watch. 

Sadly they lost to the number 1 team in the state but they played a great game.  Now it's time for track at state this week then basketball! 

We are SO ready for Thanksgiving break!
