Her Best Summer

Madi has been living her best summer already and we are only a week or so in! 

Abby invited her and a few friends to play pickleball and swim in the Vintage pool.

Then she hung out with Brynlynn and Maisen by the pool.

We watched Pistol while Grandpa Mayberry went and visited his brother, Uncle Fred, for his birthday!

On Saturday, we went to the Covered S ranch in Post to celebrate Josh's 40th birthday!  Josh was Madi's club volleyball coach this year. 

The ranch house was so nice!  We had a private chef, full bar and all kinds of casino games!

Sunday and Monday, Madi went to the lake with Campbell and Bailie! 

We had the Gibbs and Buxkempers over to plan our summer vacation with them.  Comal River, here we come!  Well, in July we will. :) 

On Monday, we celebrated with the Norrises and a yummy cookout! 

Tuesday, Madi went to see the Little Mermaid with Joleigh and Elly!

Madi asked us to surprise her with summer flowers when we ran errands. :)  Sure, anything for you!

If this past week is any indication of her summer, it will definitely be the best one yet!

First Days of Summer . . .

Sunday after Madi's piano recital, all the cousins including Morgan, Tim and Mason came over to our house for the afternoon. The kids swam and had ice cream while we visited. 

That night Madi had Elly and Joleigh spend the night on the first official day of "no school the next day"! 

They hung out and baked brownies! 

Monday was the last night of Spring League at her school.

It was fun to watch them all play each week!

Tuesday, Madi met Maisen and Laney up at their old middle school to visit teachers.  She even wore a visitor badge.  She said it was so fun seeing her old favorite teachers! 

Then we knocked out a bunch of errands and appointments already.  

Dentist - check! 

Sports physical - check!

And many other errands all done so we can enjoy summer! 

Madi's Spring Piano Recital

Sunday afternoon Madi had her Spring Piano Recital! 

She only went to one lesson in May due to all her activities but still did great! 

We love hearing her play every year!

Grandma never misses a recital! 

Ms. Amy has them play in order of age.  We remember when Madi was one of the first ones on the list back when she was 5 years old. 

Now she's the third oldest. 

She says she doesn't love going to lessons each week but does love that she knows how to play the piano! 

Tripp Turns Twenty!

Friday night, Madi stayed with Elly while we went to a surprise birthday party for one of Matt's clients. 

Blurry but wanted to document this amazing house!  Huge greenhouse, swim up bar . . . 

Ran into old friends!

They had a volleyball court . . . 

And basketball court set up with tables by his favorite band!

Saturday we went and watched Tuck play baseball.  They combined with Crosbyton to have enough players and won!

Sunday after church, we all met for lunch to celebrate Tripp's 20th birthday! 

Can't believe he's already out of the teenage years!  

End of Year Traditions Continue!

I still love reading what Madi's past teachers have to say about her.  I'm glad she humors me and asks one teacher each year to sign it for her. 

This year, Coach Apple wrote in it for her.  Madi loved being coached by her!

What a wonderful Freshman year! Ready to be a Liberty Patriot in 10th grade at a brand new school!
