Our 100th Post

Wow! 100 posts already. I can't believe it's been that long. Hope everyone is enjoying the pictures as much as we are!

Everyone in our house must have been on their best behavior if the smiley face stickers were any indication. Everyone but our newest puppy Sue got a sticker. Madi had so much fun sticking them everywhere!

I don't think Noodle and Chicke even knew they had one on them.

I forgot to post Father's Day pictures last weekend. Matt got an alarm clock radio, a chipping net and our yearly coffee mug tradition with Madi's handprints and the words "Madi's Daddy" on it. Madi and I go to a local pottery place every year and have one made. I'm sure when she's 15 and I'm dragging her down there to make her handprints she'll have something to say about it! Ha!

Father's Day Kiss! The best present ever!

Matt watched Madi while I went and got my hair cut and he always take a zillion pictures of their time together. This time they decided to golf. Madi didn't want her play golf clubs . . . she wanted the real thing! I personally love the crazy hair and mismatched clothes!

Another shoe story . . . before aerobics one morning I couldn't find my socks and tennis shoes I had set out. Well, Madi found my socks first which she put on by HERSELF . . .

Then came the shoes. On the wrong feet but on her feet nonetheless. Love this grin! She cracks me up daily!

What's better than having your own boat to take to the lake whenever you want? We've decided that having your sister and her family own a boat and inviting you to the lake all the time is WAY better. No upkeep, costs, . . . . for us! Love this picture of Morgan with Madi down by the water.

We wanted to be sure and get a picture of the grandparents and grandkids. I think my mom is somewhere in the picture!!!

Needless to say . . . . we all LOVE the boat!

Puppy Love

Lately, I've felt like I haven't taken enough pictures of Madi (for me anyways). So this morning we got out the camera and documented our morning. Here's Madi playing with a cool fish puzzle that has a magnetic fishing pole that pulls the pieces out of the puzzle (thanks Aunt Shelle). She really likes it.

She has actually started looking at the camera for me!

Then off to aerobics we went. Afterwards, Madi napped and for lunch we met some friends at Appletree. When we got back Madi was posing for me so out came the camera again!

Then came time to grab the puppies! Poor Noodle! Madi wouldn't let go!

And yes that is Noodle's tongue close to Madi's mouth. Nothing like puppy love!

Then Daddy came home early this afternoon so out the camera came again! Madi just loves holding, petting, squeezing, chasing . . . her puppies. Unfortunately, they do not feel the same. I didn't get any pictures of Madi with Sue since Madi still can't catch her.

There you have it . . . another exciting day in the Heider Household!

Swimming, swimming, swimming . . .

I think all we've done this week is swim! Here's Madi waiting on Aunt Shelle to get to the pool. I always intend to take pics while swimming but we're usually having too much fun for me to remember to get out the camera!

Here's another shoe pic. Not sure how comfortable those are to walk in especially between random toes!!! She doesn't seem to mind though. As long as they make click-click sounds on the tile she's happy!

I won Mother-of-the-Year award twice this week already. Tuesday Madi climbed up on our bed which sits pretty high and did a flip off the end. She was hanging over the sleigh part looking down at the dogs and just flipped off! Oops!

And last night she went into our bedroom and shut the door. When I went to go open it I realized she locked it as well! So I grabbed the camera while Daddy came to the rescue with a handy butter knife. I had the video camera in the other hand to capture her knocking and yelling at us to open the door. It was too funny!

Aaahhh . . . freedom!

What's all the fuss about?

I'll never do THAT again!

Here we are walking across Tech campus on our way to swim lessons. Madi has the best seat!

She was holding on so tight to her Daddy's cheeks (I guess because she was up so high). We couldn't help but laugh!

I decided to not get in this time so I could take some pictures. It's a parent & me class so most moms and dads get in. Here's Madi practicing her kicking.

I just had to snap a shot of the new Tech pool. It is amazing! It has a lazy river that winds around the whole place. What we would give to be back in college!

Matt told me to watch and I saw Madi put her face in the water while kicking. Well, then some people walked right in front of me and I missed Madi being submerged!!! Ughh . . . I thought he just wanted me to see her kicking and blowing bubbles. I didn't know they were going one by one and being submerged! Oh well! I saw the second time at least. She loved going under the water.
