Thanksgiving

Madi and Grandma found a pinecone while out on a golf cart ride. So, we made some feathers and had ourselves a turkey!

We did lots of relaxing and reading.

Madi watched lots of Disney movies and loved on all the animals! I think her favorite right now is Rascal cat.

Madi loves helping Grandma in the kitchen.

Before our Thanksgiving meal we went down to the new horses in the area and fed them some apples.

Madi's favorite horse is the white one named Zena. But this one below . . . named Spirit is blind and really friendly so he's the only one that would come close enough to feed.

On our way out the door to Roswell to see our family there.

We were too busy visiting and playing in Roswell to take many pictures. But we did manage to get one of all the cousins.

We celebrated Owen's 4th birthday and watched Grandpa's football game while we were there too. Madi had so much fun and has been talking about Ethan and Owen ever since we got back!

Reading by the Fire!

Every night before bed one of us reads Madi a book. Well, one night it was cold enough for a fire so she wanted her Daddy to read to her by the fire.

She is definitely our child!

Tucker turns THREE!

Tucker wanted his birthday party at none other than Chuck E. Cheese. They were too excited to pose for a pre-party picture.

Early Birds!

Yes, we are early birds and put up our Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving.

Matt really likes for the trees to be up for at least a month and a half and Madison definitely agrees with him since she has her very own Christmas tree in her room.

She decorated it all by herself and even made a few new ornaments to add to it this year.

Now, it just needs presents under it.

Each night it's Madi's job to go around the house and turn on all 3 Christmas trees' lights. It really does make us all excited for the Christmas season!

Children's Museum

We are so excited that the Children's Museum section of the Science Spectrum FINALLY opened.

The water table is definitely a favorite. I'm just surprised that Madi actually asks to wear the water-proof apron.

I can't even count how many items all the kids "bought" at the grocery store.

I think our friend Ty will be a Vet one day. He loved all the animals.

Nothing makes Tucker happier than any type of ball game. This was perfect for him.

Madi loved the animals as well. She picked a cat first to play with (I know her Grandma Mayberry is so proud!).

Allie, the vet! She looked adorable in the doctor coat.

Another one of the "ball" games. The boys stood there like this for at least 15 minutes straight.

Ty wanted to show me how the ball was "floating" on the air.

Allie and Ty were playing newscasters.

The music room is pretty fun.

There are a ton of instruments . . .

and random noise makers all over!

Each day at 10:30 they have a craft time with one of the workers.

The kids were experimenting to see what happened to Halloween candy when water, oil, salt, etc. was added to the bowls. All the moms thought "what a waste of good candy!"

Not sure if this shy girl has a future in reporting, but you never know.

These safety goggles cracked me up. I guess the air can get pretty dangerous.

Then it was time for more shopping. Ty was a great checker.

We can't wait to go back and play!
(If the pictures seem to be all over the place, it's because that's how the kids were. They'd run from one room to the next and back again. I couldn't keep up!)

Trick or Treat!

We went trick or treating in Aunt Shelle's new neighbor so she could meet their new neighbors.

I'm surprised we got a picture of all the kids before going because they were SO excited!

(Yes, we were all shocked at Tripp's costume. Boys!)

Madison did really well going to the doors and ringing the door bell. But she was a little shy to say "Trick or Treat" at first but she got better towards the end.

Over all, it was the perfect night for Trick or Treating!

Halloween morning, Tucker and Madi made rice crispy ghosts with Grandma and Grandpa.

They both enjoyed helping make the treats, but . . .

neither one would actually EAT the treats they made!

Can't say I blame them. They did look a little questionable!
