Last week, Elly had her tonsils out so Madi went by with friends to cheer her up and take her to Menchie's for frozen yogurt.
Then Friday night we went to Torchy's for dinner with the Foleys and walked around downtown at the First Friday Art Trail!
It rained a little so there weren't as many food trucks and art places open but we still had fun.
We had to laugh when one of Bianca's uncle Brad's paintings was for sale at a gallery. :)
It was very interesting for sure to see what people view as art!
We finished the night at Brass Tap for dessert and some wings!
Saturday night we met Hunter and his parents for dinner at The Reserve. It's always fun catching up with them.
Sunday, Madi treated herself and Hunter to a pedicure for end of baseball season and our fun trip coming up! Then we went to the Foleys' house for Junes-giving since Adam had a turkey he needed to smoke. It was so good and we enjoyed playing washers on the new set he and Matthew made. Madi and Hunter won!
Monday, Madi and I made doggie cookies for the Morris Safe House for our volunteer hours for NCL.
Monday afternoon, Matt, Madi, Allison and I went to look at a few student housing options for when the girls go to TTU next year. They both loved The Republic 2x2 house.
They want to live together and were both on the same page about almost everything so hopefully we will make a decision soon!
Then that night Madi went to dinner at Hunter's house since it was his first day at his new summer job working as an electrician assistant. She loved hearing about his first day. She said he liked it and was already learning a lot.
She came home with the most beautiful flowers for their 7 month anniversary. :)
