We caught the Grinch turning on all our Christmas lights this past weekend as family was about to arrive.
December 22: Fred wanted to swing under the dining room chandelier.
We had to run to Market St. for a few things so lucky us Tripp pushed the basket.
Tuck and Maci spent the night with friends in town so it was just Aunt Shelle and Tripp joining us on our weekly "Christmas lights competition." Tripp won and chose Dairy Queen for dessert.
December 23: Fred was goofing off and hanging from a candy cane!
Before meeting my family at the movies to see Star Wars, we walked the mall a little bit.
And of course we found a pig shirt that Madi just had to have at Dillard's.
I remember taking these three to play at the mall over 7 years ago!
Tripp's girlfriend Jadyn joined us at the movies. Tripp loves Scooby Doo so I insisted on a picture.
Got a picture before Grandpa and Uncle Rod showed up.
We played pictionary . . .
And the saran wrap ball game before heading to dinner at Teddy Jack's.
After dinner, we came back to our house for cookies and presents!
December 24: Fred had a snowball fight with Jasmine!
Tuesday morning, everyone came over and Matt cooked an amazing breakfast of biscuits, gravy, bacon and eggs cooked to order!
Chef Selfie!
Then the kids hunted for Christmas trees that I hid around the room. They were numbered so they had a sheet to check off as they found them. First one to find all 20 won a prize!
Then we played Pin the Star on the Christmas Tree!
Next up was candy making time . . .
We made caramel and chocolate covered almonds and pretzels.
Time out for a quick girl picture!
They loved the Christmas Tree hunt so much surprisingly so next I hid 20 Rudolphs. They were harder to find since they were dark brown.
Maci couldn't wait to get in the hot tub after all the fun! I joined her outside since it was so nice!
Madi couldn't wait until Christmas Eve night to give us our gift that she made.
It's a frame of her hand-print along with paw prints of the 3 puppies. The title says "Your Girls."
I absolutely love it and can't wait to find a place to display it.
