We finished a mean game of Sorry! on Saturday morning.
Grandma and Grandpa Heider spent the morning and afternoon with us to celebrate Madi's upcoming 9th birthday on Monday. We forgot to get a picture but we sure enjoyed visiting with them and eating at Cracker Barrel sure was fun too!
Madi went to Adyson's house for an almost sleep over Saturday night to celebrate Ady's birthday!
We she got home we had to try out the launchers that Grandpa Heider bought for her that afternoon.
They were pretty neat to watch!
Sunday evening, Grandma Mayberry, Grandma B, Aunt Shelle, Uncle Cody and all the cousins came over for dinner and to celebrate Madi!

She loved opening a card with money from Grandma B and a flannel plaid shirt from her cousins.
Meet Martin. The newest member of the Heider family.
He has a neat tank that lights up. Grandma Mayberry sure knows how to make this girl smile with her similar love for all things animal.
We got her a Venus Fly Trap and the adults were more amazed than the kids when it would close up around the flies.
In the picture above, there's a fly in the very center leaf.
They loved watching it close up around the flies too.
Then we had to play a few games.

We set up Martin's tank and got him ready for his new home on Madi's desk in her room.
This is the birthday celebration that keeps on going.
Tomorrow is officially the day this sweet one turns 9 years old!
