We like to spread out the holiday fun around here!
So Thanksgiving Eve (as Madi likes to call it!) we all met at Aunt Shelle's house for games, tacos and a little Christmas decorating.
We all helped get their tree up and decorated!
Then it was outside for the Turkey Trot!
They each ran the Turkey Trot as we timed them.
Over the broom, through the hula hoop, jumping jack off the stool, zigzag, . . .
Run back and forth then run backwards, jump over the cooler, . . .
Bop the ball three times and then toss it back through the hoop!
I think they all ran it at least 3 times trying to beat their best time!
Then we had a little turkey hunt inside . . .
They had a paper with turkeys labeled 1 through 12 and they had to find those turkeys hidden around the house.
Some were harder to find than others!
Tucker was laughing when Madi couldn't find number 6 and it was right beside him and her on the couch.
Maci found all the low ones right away!
Some were trickier than I thought so the hunt lasted quite a while!
The hunt is over. All the turkeys were found!
We ate yummy tacos then tried out the new game Aunt Shelle bought Pie in the Face!
No strategy, no logic . . . just plain fun!
Such a simple game for how much fun we had! Everyone agreed it was the perfect game to play on Thanksgiving Eve!
