Monday
Monday it poured and flooded the streets so bad that we stayed home from swim She played in the puddles before it got too bad!
Tuesday morning it was raining so much that we took our picture inside the garage and wore our rain boots to school/work.
Wednesday
We got our summer swim schedule . . . it's making summer seem like it'll be here soon!
Thursday
Friday was Olympic Day at Madison's school.
It's similar to Field Day when I was a kid but has bounce houses, carnival games, food and more.
These pictures are blurry but she was a pro at getting the chicken to fly through the air and into the hole.
All the games were a lot of fun.
Tug-of-war was moved into the hallway because of the rain.
Mrs. Hisey's class beat every other 1st grade class then lost in the championship.
Selfie in her classroom waiting on the pizza to be delivered.
Then her class went to the water activities outside.
Matt and I took off for lunch real quick then made it back to see her shivering and playing in the water.
Then it was back to the classroom to dry off, change clothes and have another Bahama Buck's snow cone
Madi couldn't wait until the 50 yard dash relay (in the cafeteria due to rain!).
She won third place in her class. We need to visit about not looking around when you're running!
Class picture for her student teacher Ms. Schuessler's last day.
Sweet friends - Madi & Sidney!
As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day we met the Daniels for dinner at BJs.
Then the girls wanted to take pictures on the bikes outside of Red Robin.
Now we're gearing up for a fun Mother's Day weekend!
