1st Night of Cotillion

Last Saturday night was another slumber party since the fifth graders were serving breakfast to the college class Sunday morning.  They had fun playing in the hot tub, decorating cookies and playing!
Sunday afternoon was our Back to Church picnic complete with hamburgers, hotdogs, bounce houses and more!
Sunday afternoon Madi had Girl Scouts and was the Spotlight for the week meaning she could share some of her favorite things.  We brought squishees for everyone to decorate!  And one to make on their own at home.  They also made cat treats, dog collars and puppy snacks to donate next week to the Haven in order to earn their Pets Patch.
Sunday was also Maisen's 11th birthday at the skating rink.
 Busy Sunday for sure!
Monday
Monday evening, the Girl Scouts met at a local church to earn their First Aid patch.

I was very happy that I ironed/sewed on all Madi's patches so far!
 Tuesday
I took lunch to Madi on Tuesday since I was leaving to Austin for a few days.
The next morning I enjoyed Facetiming her and listening to the new Star Wars song she learned to play.
 Wednesday
We noticed that Madi made the paper in the story about the Girl Scouts!  She's hard to see but she's there!

Wednesday evening was Madi's first night of Cotillion.
I was sad to miss it while in Austin so I took pictures the weekend before so she could just enjoy the actual night!
A beautiful dress for a beautiful girl!
Daddy remembered to take a picture for me before they headed out!
And of course they had to tease me with a picture of her also wearing the gloves that came in for her Halloween costume.  :)
All the girls at cotillion . . .
And a group shot of those from Central Elementary . . .
The same night we took a group picture in Austin/Bastrop with my Raise Your Hand Texas Team!

 Thursday
Before we left the conference, we had to take a picture of the Texas Tech flag flying.  It was neat that they had all 10 universities represented with their flags as we arrived!
 Friday
After such a busy week of traveling, we are ready for a quiet weekend!

A Short Week

 Tuesday
Wednesday - Church started back up tonight!
 Thursday
Friday was picture day!  Hope this is the cute smile she made for the photographer!
Took Casey to lunch for her birthday!
And I find these fun pics on my phone that they took while I went to the restroom! :)
Grandma Mayberry left a little surprise for Madi on her night stand.  We are ready for some fall weather!
Friday night the big girls all stayed at the Foley's house while the littles went to church for Kids Night Out.  The adults cooked out at our house and planned our Vegas vacation coming up!
The big girls all ended up spending the night at the Foley's house so Adam sent these pictures of the wonderful show they were treated to later that evening.  :)

I thought last weekend was full of fun but this weekend is proving to be just as busy!

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend started with a sleepover with Devyn and Maisen!
Saturday I took them to Home Depot to make a fun craft!

 The finished products . . .
Madi played at Devyn's house Saturday afternoon then we met them and Gracie's family at the pool one last time!
Saturday evening we met Grandma and Grandpa Mayberry and Uncle Rod for dinner at Red Lobster!
Sunday after church Madi and I went and had our toe done!  Matt played poker that evening with a friend from work and I met Desiree and Beth for a quick happy hour!
Aunt Shelle sent more awesome pictures of Tripp's game Friday night!
 We love our #6!

We went and saw Hotel Transylvania 3 Monday morning!
Then Monday afternoon we started a new holiday tradition for days like Labor Day, Memorial Day, etc.
The kids all play at the Foley's house and the parents go out for a fun happy hour/dinner!
Then we all come home to watch a choreographed dance routine!  And we're all home to get ready for the week well before bed time!
