Thanksgiving Lunch at School

Monday
Madi put her Christmas lists in a little mailbox she got last year from her elf Fred.
I told her we could for sure give her a "BOTHER" for Christmas.  That'll be easy!
 Posing by the tree!
 Tuesday
This pic showed up on my Timehop on Facebook.  The years are FLYING by.
 Wednesday
Wednesday ended a visit from the Deans for Impact group.  It went well but I was glad it was over.
Grandma and I joined Miss Madi for Thanksgiving lunch at her school on Wednesday.
After school, Madi went home with Devyn to play and then they went up to the Falls for a tennis clinic.  Devyn's dad is the tennis coach at Tech.
 Thursday

Shelle sent us this picture of Morgan as she was heading to a meeting with the owners of Chick-fila where she works.  She is applying for a team leader position at only 17 years old. Way to go Mo!
 Friday
When this cutie asks me to bring her lunch, I change my meetings around to join her.   :)

Such sweet friends for my sweet girl!

Finally feels like FALL!

Our Friday night on the patio with a fire and this girl to entertain us!
We had to document Madi's Lego creation before we put it away.
We plan to get it out over Christmas break for her to create it again.
While Matt was golfing we went to Home Depot to make a helicopter.

Then we met Aunt Shelle, Maci and her friend Kambrie at Chick-fila for lunch.
Sweet cousins, and even sweeter friends!
I could barely contain this one from the excitement of Saturday afternoon.
We had Christmas music playing, we were wearing our Christmas hats and yes, we decorated for Christmas!
We now have FOUR trees to decorate!

She grew a crystal from one of her birthday presents and it was finally ready Saturday night.
Sunday after church we ate lunch with the Foley Family at Red Robin.
The kids had a blast and the adults had fun planning our next Vegas trip coming up soon.
While I did some work and homework, these two put together our new patio heater.
It sure will be nice to have this on as we get out of the hot tub on cool winter nights!

Halloween

Last weekend Madi finally spent some of the money she's been saving on a big Lego set.  It should have taken her a week to put together but she finished in the next day!

Saturday evening, we went on a long bike ride and ended at Cup of Yo!  That's been happening a lot lately.
The rest of my Saturday evening was spent like this . . .
Sunday morning before church I caught these two looking up a verse in Madi's new bible.
Monday was Halloween so she could wear her costume to school.
Casey and I came up with a pun costume for a work contest . . .
She borrowed her son's costume and we went as . . .
 Green with Envy!
I ran to Madi's school for her Halloween party during lunch time.
 Silly picture!
They played a fun game of wrapping each other like mummies!

Madi & Devyn
 Sweet friends always together.

The third grade teachers dressed as characters from The Wizard of Oz.  Mrs. Lance was the mean witch and Ms. J (her student teacher) was the nice witch.  Mrs. Jones, science and social studies teacher, was the yellow brick road and Ms. Kissinger, reading teacher, was the scarecrow.
Monday evening, we invited the Daniels over for chili and then we headed out to meet up with Devyn and Gracie's family to trick or treat around our neighborhood.  The kids had a blast and we enjoyed all visiting.
 Tuesday
Wednesday
Wednesday morning, I had a missed call from Madi's school right after dropping her off.  I called back and they said everything was fine and they weren't sure who called me.  But that didn't sit well with me so Matt came to my rescue and went and checked on her so I could concentrate in my meeting all morning.  I got this picture and knew all was well!
 Dia de los Muertos project
 Thursday
Aunt Shelle sent this picture of Maci sleeping in the ears Tucker got at Great Wolf Lodge with us.  I think she's trying to tell us something!

 Friday
We are ready for the weekend!
