We started our Thanksgiving break with Thanksgiving dinner at church Sunday evening.
It was cold out when we headed home that this little one wanted her Daddy to carry her to the car. :)
The youth at church also had a Turkey Bowl where all the kids played a game of flag football. Thankfully, the weather was great!
I worked a little on Monday and Tuesday mornings since I was out last week. Madi had Maisen over Sunday night and Monday during the day. Tuesday afternoon, I took this one for a little Mom & Madi time. We ran by Starbucks then to get her nails done.
We don't get her nails done very often so it's such a special treat!
She wanted Christmas nails! Her daddy was so proud. :)
Wednesday we headed to Jayton for Thanksgiving. That night we grilled fajitas for dinner. Matt was giving Tripp and his friend Cody a lesson on going to college to become a CPA.
Thursday morning, the rest of the family arrived - Grandma B, Grandma Mayberry, Grandpa Mayberry, Uncle Rod, and Cody's parents. We brought the game Dixit and everyone LOVED playing it over and over.
I wanted to get a picture with my sweet nephews and niece!
Then we played Bean Boozled where you spin a spinner and eat a jelly bean that might be a good or gross flavor. Poor Madi got the gross flavors every time!
Tucker and his gag reflex weren't sure about this game!
The kids' table had a fun table cloth to entertain them until dinner was ready.
Lots of tic-tac-toe games happened!
I'm thankful for these two favorites every day of the year . . .
Tripp looked so handsome in his GQ sweater!
We headed home for some Black Friday shopping but then headed to Gail, TX to watch Tripp's playoff game in the fog.
Friday night lights in the fog!
Sadly, it wasn't the outcome we wanted but they had a great season!
We sure have packed a lot of fun into this Thanksgiving break!
