Explorers Camp 2017

Saturday morning we got up bright and early to send Madi off to camp.
We picked Jessica and Allison up on our way.
One last picture with Mom and Dad before heading out . . .

Not sure why the hat is worn backwards all of the sudden but she said it's because she looks like her cousin Tripp.
Ready with their passes to get on the bus . . .
Ready to load up and head out!
Our Children's Minister, Ms. Brenda, took pictures each day and posted them on our private page so we could all see what the kids were up to.   We sure loved seeing her throughout the week.
I have no doubt she loved canoeing!

They took a bunch of group photos which will be fun for her to look back on.

 The hat is backwards again!
 Painting nails . . .

Each night they had themes for dress up at dinner time . . . Mismatch!  Not sure why she has black on her face.  :)

 Dinnertime!
 Zipline!
We weren't sure she would go on the zipline especially when we didn't see any pictures of her on it the first night but we were surprised (and happy!) when we saw these on the second night!

The next theme night was Decades!  Madi went dressed as the 1980s!

Friendships were definitely made.  She came home with 4 friendship necklaces with 4 different friends!
Group photo on the last day wearing their camp shirts!

We knew she would love going to camp but being away from home is always a little tough.  But today she said she wished there were two church camps each summer.  Definitely music to my ears!
