Getting on the boat . . .

 Saturday morning Fred has his suitcase packed and he was ready to join us on our cruise!

 We dropped off our dogs and picked up Grandma.  Aunt Shelle took us to the airport and got a picture for us as we were leaving.

 We are ready for a fun adventure!

 And so are these two!

 We stayed in a beautiful bed and breakfast called Harbor House Hotel which was on the water and a few feet from our ship. 

 We checked out our room then headed to eat.

 Madi loved looking out the window at the park and water.

 Here's a picture of our hotel.  It looks like it may have been a warehouse renovated into a bed and breakfast.

 We found a great seafood place for dinner right on the water. 

 After dinner we walked around down town Galveston and they had a Christmas parade going on.  A guy brought Madi a rose.  :)  

 Fred wore one of his new shirts from his suitcase to celebrate our first night!

 Sunday morning Fred had a book of mazes to keep Madi occupied as we boarded the ship.

 Madi wanted to take a picture of the park for her photography assignment.

 This picture shows how close our hotel was to our ship.

 We found a local breakfast place that was so good!

 These two could barely contain themselves!

 We killed some time walking along the pier until it was time to board.

The fun is just getting started!
