Winter Session Sneak Peek!

 

I always love when I see Hayly's post of the sneak peek! 

They are all gorgeous! 

Yep, Madi wanted Biscuit and GV to join her for a session.  They behaved well and actually turned out really well! 

Can't wait to share the rest soon! Only one more session until graduation! 

Snow Daze!

 

Madi heading off to work before the crazy cold weather came in! 

Shelle and I were able to meet up with our friend Tatum for lunch last Wednesday!  We lived next door to each other since we were 2-3 years old and have stayed in touch even though she lives in Houston! Her boys are Madi's age and will be attending TTU. 

Youth was back in session this week! 

Then the snow hit! 

We planned a bunch of fun meals and completed two puzzles, so far! 

Madi joined Hunter and his dog Ruger for some fun in the snow!

Sunday night we had a shrimp boil and game night! 

But the banks don't stay closed for long even with snow so this girl headed to work on Monday.  School was canceled Monday and Tuesday so far. 

Love that we could help sponsor Madi's inaugural class' liberty bell! 

We're all ready for the sun to come out again and melt away this snow! 

Saying YES to her PROM dress!

 

We headed to Dallas Saturday morning to meet with the Foley's so this could be our view all afternoon!

Madi and Allison tried on a ton of dresses until they found the one! 

All looked gorgeous on her! 

We had to keep with tradition.  Last year they both came down to the hotel lobby after dinner to show their dads the dresses they chose! 

We gave them grief about their socks. :) 

The next morning we shopped at a huge TJ Maxx then had brunch at a cute place before heading home. 

The girls had to have the s'mores tower! 

Got their dresses and ready to head home! 

Hunter took care of our girls while we were away and left Madi a surprise when we got home. Very thoughtful. 

Madi immediately opened some packages that had arrived . . . 

Yes, those are extensions she thinks she's going to wear on Prom night. 

I want to keep these for memory sake when she asks me if she really put in extensions. :)  If she goes through with it, that is. 

Celebrating Maddie, RN!

Church started back Wednesday night.  Can't believe this is Madi's last semester in Youth. 

I have to beg Maci for snaps that include pictures of her instead of her ceiling. This is what a I get. :) 

I'm enjoying being on Lubbock ISD's Leadership Academy team. 

We learn so much each month by touring many of their campuses. 

Friday night we met Tripp and Maddie at the Reserve to celebrate her passing the final exam to be an RN!  

Maddie and Madi showed up twinning so I tried to a picture to remember it.  Too funny! 

Maddie's working as an RN in Covenant's ER.  So far she's enjoying it and we enjoying hearing about her shifts!

This girl is so easy to celebrate!

The following day Tripp and Maddie were heading to Mexico for a work trip he and his team earned!

So happy for his success!  Maddie snapped and said he caught a fish! Hope they're having a great time.
