Cousin Fun!

 Our Dodson cousins came over on Thursday to spend a few days with us.

 We were so excited for them to arrive! 

 We cooled off at the pool then went to Joyland.  I rode the bumper cars with Owen first. 

 The green and black water slides were definitely a big hit with all the kids!

 There were a few rides Madi didn't want to ride so we watched all the others and entertained ourselves!

 Tired but they did not want to leave!

 Friday morning we headed to Altitude Trampoline park the second it opened.

 They jumped and played for two hours!

 The sparring game was pretty fun too!

 Then Aunt Erin and I enjoyed some shopping after lunch at Chick-fila while the kids enjoyed the hot tub!

  Friday night we went out to Triple J for dinner and then to Louie Louie's Piano bar.  Our friends the Wharffs joined us too.

We had a great time!

 Then Saturday morning was nice and lazy!  Madi played with Archer and all the boys.

Aunt Erin and I got in a little more shopping then they were on their way back home to Roswell!

Moonlight Musical Theater Camp

 Monday morning, she was all ready for theater camp!

 She didn't know anyone the first day so she was a little unsure and didn't want me to leave.

 So I came to pick her up a little early to see how it went on the first day . . . 

 And she was having fun!

 The stage teacher picked her and a friend to model the mirror exercise they were doing for the whole group.

 I had a meeting real quick up at work Monday afternoon so since we had swim that same afternoon we headed to Spoonfuls to kill some time. 

 On Tuesday, Devyn was back in town and ready for camp with us.

 Tuesday afternoon we met Aunt Shelle, cousins, and the Daniel girls at Texas Water Rampage. 

 Couldn't catch Maci to get her in a picture!

 Shelle, Shay and I floated in the lazy river most of the afternoon!

 Wednesday - ready for camp!

 These two have become good friends.  Thankful Devyn's family moved to Texas.

 Devyn joined us at the pool Wednesday afternoon.

 Dressed in pink since she's playing the part of a pig in The Three Little Pigs today at theater camp.

The play video is too long to upload but I was able to post the dance and singing parts.

She had such a great week at theater camp that she wants to go again in August.  :)

Maci's 5th Birthday!

 We celebrated Maci's 5th birthday on her actual birthday Sunday evening.  

Obstacle courses started the evening . . .

 

  We braved the heat and bright sun!

They had fun playing on the slip-n-slide and throwing water balloons!

 After dinner, they all took turns hitting the pinata!

 Next up, Tucker!

 A few other friends went then it was Madi's turn.

 Unfortunately, right after this swing she dropped the bat right on her toe and cracked her toe nail! 

 Cake and presents time!

  We loved celebrating this sweet 5 year old!  Can't believe she'll be starting Kindergarten this year.

  Random picture, but I love how Madi buckles in our water jug as we head to the pool.

It leaks if it isn't upright so she figured out a way to make sure it stays that way.  :)

Roswell Visit

 On Saturday, we headed to Roswell for a quick visit with family.

 Madi loved playing with all of her cousins and especially loved holding sweet Archer!

 We went to their pool for a few hours in the afternoon to cool off!

 Then back to Grandma and Grandpa's house to visit, play and have a yummy supper!

We were sad to leave but thankful we have another visit coming up real soon.
