Christmas Eve Eve!

I love to see our Snowman Card holder so full of wonderful friends and family pictures!
We grilled chicken legs and jalapeno poppers for dinner.
 Then we played some train.
We finished the night looking at lights in the Vintage and Oakmont neighborhoods.

Bring on Christmas Eve!

Gearing up for Christmas!

Monday night we went out to dinner and then walked around the new West End outdoor shopping area.  Madi loved the giant ornaments.  We found Madi some shoes at the Nike store and a denim dress she's been wanting at Gap Factory.  Pretty successful shopping night! Then we looked at lights on the way home again.
Day 22:  Fred wanted to do some yoga with Madi.
I videoed Madi (but didn't get a picture) of her doing a yoga video Tuesday morning.  I guess she took Fred's suggestion seriously.
We also made this Christmas craft with her foot and hand prints.  One's for our house and one is for Grandma!
We curled her hair this morning too.
It's a strange feeling curling already curly hair but it turned out super cute!
Madi also has been wanting to rake up the leaves in our yard.
I thought she was just wanting to help, but I think the real reason was so she could hide in the leaf pile!
Day 23:  Fred was looking at the nativity scene.
Wednesday morning Stephanie and Margaret picked us up for a girls' morning.
We headed to Starbucks first for a treat!
Then we spent the morning at the Science Spectrum.
Madi around the lockers made me think of her in high school.  Slow down time!
Madi and Margaret pick back up where they left off like no time has past.
They have such a great friendship!

Star Wars!

Day 20:  Fred wrapped himself under the tree!
A whole couch to themselves . . . and they all 3 pile on top of one another.
Day 21:  Fred did a little Christmas decorating of his own!
Monday morning these two had a date with the Foley family to see the new Star Wars movie.
I'm pretty sure Matt was the most excited of everyone!
While they were at the movies, I went to a quick meeting at work then had a manicure and lunch with Stephanie since she's taking a new job in January.

Roswell Visit!

Matt's last course (EVER!) ended Saturday afternoon so we headed to Roswell Sunday morning bright and early.
We went to drop off Christmas presents and to meet our newest nephew Archer Lee!
He's oh so little and adorable!
 Actually they're all pretty adorable!
 All 6 cousins!
The older 3 cousins went to a piano recital with Grandma and Grandpa Heider.
We enjoyed a quiet afternoon visiting with Erin and Cody.
Then we had a wonderful dinner.
And before we knew it, it was time to head home!

SantaLand!

Friday afternoon cuddles on the couch!
Friday evening we headed to SantaLand!
It's such a fun place to walk around and look.
Too bad we don't have a selfie stick!
Madi yelled when she saw the Star Wars section!  They're excited to go see the movie this Monday.
Madi said "I have to get my picture with Clifford, T-Bone and Cleo!"
Yes you do!
Family shadow picture (unintentionally) while looking at the trees lit up!
 Madi's in there somewhere!
Day 19:  Fred hit 8 candy canes for our 8 year old girl!  They were hard to find too!
It's fun seeing Tucker write about Madi while at school.
I love their friendship!

Pirate Pride & Christmas Party!

Day 14:  Fred dressed as Darth Vader to remind Madi that we need to set Darth and Yoda back outside.  We took them inside because of the wind!
 Monday
Day 15:  Fred said he wanted to watch the movie Elf!
We took his advice and saved it for Friday night family movie night!
 Tuesday

Day 16:  Fred wanted to play a little elf twister!
 Wednesday
I love going to our dentist.  This is why . . .
Then after school I brought Madi to her dentist appointment.  Their office is so beautiful.  The chairs even massage you!
Day 17:  Fred was excited for Madi since it was Pirate Pride day where they get to go to a celebration for being good!
 Thursday

I helped set up for Pirate Pride but then had to leave for brunch with an instructor that is moving away.  Her husband was on Tech's staff but got the head coach job at Bowling Green.
A good friend sent me these pictures of Madi obviously enjoying her cookie!
I'm sorry I missed this part!
Grandma Mayberry bought these adorable sweater cookies for the kids to decorate next week as ugly Christmas sweaters!  Should be fun!
Right after tumbling we raced to see Tucker's Christmas program.
We were in the second row so we could see Tucker perfectly!  He sang so well and the program was adorable.  Then we all enjoyed Cracker Barrel for dinner.
Day 18:  Fred brought Madi a bunch of hilarious elf jokes!
All ready for the last day of the fall semester!
Dancing in her classroom before the Christmas party!

I sure enjoyed helping at her party!
 Grandma Mayberry had fun too!
They played "bobbing for candy canes," made a craft, handed out gifts and ate yummy cookies, fruit and muffins.
Madi went home early with Grandma Mayberry so I could run to an important meeting.
Then we met up for lunch and some last minute Christmas shopping!
