Owen and Madi play so well together.
After a yummy Christmas dinner we opened presents.
Aunt Erin got Madi "Cutting Food" and it was a hit!
Didn't get too many pictures again this time. We were all too busy visiting and eating and having a great time! 
Daddy was relaxing and enjoying a beer while Madi ripped open all her presents (and anyone else's that would let her!).

Matt's mom's side of the family does a gift exchange with all the cousins since there's over 25 of them. Madi got a sweet baby and a dress up box full of earrings, necklaces, glasses, shoes, etc. Right up her alley!
She loves to feed this cheetah his bottle. 
After everyone opened their gifts we cleaned up and went to bed since we had another busy day coming up.

After opening presents again we headed to Roswell . . . 
This was the first movie that both Matt and I went to with Madi.
We had a little photo shoot before heading to the movie theater. 
She was definitely excited about going to the movies and eating candy.
However, the movie was a little darker and scarier than we thought. So she said "I'm ready to go home now" right after it started.
Luckily, most of the movie kept her entertained enough that she didn't keep asking to leave.
It was a pretty cute movie overall, though.
I'm sure these 3 will be seeing many more movies in the years to come! 
It's become somewhat of a tradition for them to come visit and go to SantaLand.
We waited in line to see Santa and Mrs. Claus. I was SHOCKED that Madi would actually sit on Mrs. Claus' lap.
Both Ethan and Owen asked Santa for guns! Uncle Matt and Aunt Sherre definitely scored then for Christmas this year since we got both of them guns as gifts. 
It was pretty chilly so thank goodness for the fires to keep us warm. 
I hope Madi always loves Clifford!
The next morning was donuts and playtime. The girls (minus Madi) went shopping while Uncle Matt kept all the kiddos. 
The house was in one piece and everyone was alive when we got back so I'd call it a success!
We had such a good time!
Can't wait for next year! 
So, I usually just snap away (I haven't quite mastered/learned my camera yet!).
I was SHOCKED to see that she actually smiled and looked in the direction of the camera for most of the pictures.
So, this is HUGE for us. I usually have to beg her to smile and look at me. And even then I usually get a squinted eye and smirk picture at best.
So although these aren't the best pictures I was pleasantly surprised at how sweet she was. 
Writing letters is a great thing to play but with POKER CHIPS? Really? He couldn't find anything else? Ha!
But Madi doesn't seem to mind. 
Each morning she goes and gets the chips out to play just like it's normal. 
Guess at this rate she'll be ready to hit Vegas next year! 
Why Noodle and not the others? Because she's the only one Madi can catch!
She takes her to her food and water dish and tells her to eat and drink. She puts her up on our bed then down again. And up and down off the couch. She's the perfect size for her to carry so I don't see this ending anytime soon. 
I know Noodle's thinking "Why me?"
Madi took the above picture of Noodle. She loves to take pictures and is getting better about actually getting the subject in the picture! I better learn more about my camera or she's going to start taking better pictures than I do!
