Barbie & Ken

We dressed up as Ken & Barbie for our Sunday School Halloween party that we hosted at our house Saturday night. 

Adam and Bianca were adorable as Cruella and the puppy catcher!

We ate tons of food and the some of the guys learned how to play craps!

Then we played Taboo, guys against girls!

We had so much fun and really LOVE our class. 

 

Matt's Surprise Birthday Party!

I decided last minute to have a surprise birthday party for Matt on Friday night. 

He thought we were going out to dinner with friends but it ended up 9 of our closest couple friends came to our house for dinner and a craps tournament. 

Breann made his favorite dessert - cherry pie! 

Adam made a trophy for the tournament winner!

We had so much fun celebrating him!

We didn't take many pictures since we were having fun all evening! 

 

LBMS vs. Hutch

Last Thursday was Madi's last game of the volleyball season! 

They do have a tournament this week Thursday through Sunday.

Great way to end the regular season!

 

Happy 14th Birthday, Madi!

We were so ready to celebrate Madi on Sunday for her 14th birthday! 

We let her open gifts before church since she was so excited! 

She loved her gifts from Maci including this adorable kitty. 

We got her a "hype man" necklace in brail.  We are always telling her to be the "hype man" on her team to encourage everyone to do their best!

I finally found the Lucky Charms cereal that is just marshmallows! 

I think they were a hit!

A long awaited white chi hair straightener!

She also got some Lululemon shirts, shorts, and skirt.

She wasn't impressed but I just had to stop and take her picture as we were walking into church at exactly 9:39am on 10/17/21.  That's the time she turned 14 years old EXACTLY! 

After church and a few errands, it was time to celebrate with family!

The whole family made it but of course I didn't get a picture of everyone!

The weather was so nice so we carved pumpkins while the steaks were grilling!

Belles & Beaux - Game Day!

Saturday night was the Belles & Beaux dance - Game Day! 

Love that she wore her daddy's jersey!

Madi and a bunch of her friends got ready at our house so I had to set out some cute snacks!

Then we met all the other girls and boys at Fuzzy's for dinner!  

After dinner, we met everyone at the LBMS football field for pictures before heading to the dance!

One of the boy moms is a photographer so she came up with great poses for them to do! 

Who would've thought that Matt would have a daughter wearing his college football jersey for a dance some 20 years later? 

 

LCP Volleyball

Friday, Madi and her team were recognized at the high school LCP volleyball game! 

It was fun to watch volleyball at that level.

Then we all went to eat at HEB and get dessert at Braum's!
