Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

Madi's friend Lauren had a unique birthday party.  The girls rode in a limo out to Morris Safe House to volunteer all afternoon.  Madi said the workers wanted them to love on and play with all the animals. Madi loved every minute.
By the looks of this video, the girls had fun singing in the limo!  Instead of gifts, we all donated to the safe house.
We both got new phones so I had to take a picture of this cute guy!
Monday morning was theater camp with the Mizes, Wharffs and Foleys.  We made up half of the cast I think!
 Aubree, Madi and Penny
On Friday, they wore their theater shirt!
On our way to the performance . . .
 Almost show time!

 We loved our Candy Kid!
Madi's part was perfect for her . . . singing, dancing and on stage for most of the performance!

On Saturday, we met up with Devyn and her mom to make Father's Day gifts.
We were a little behind on making the mug so we will have a belated celebration when it's ready!

Vegas! Again.

Yes, we went to Vegas again while Madi was at Cousin Camp in Jayton.
I've always wanted to see Celine Dion so when Matt realized her last shows were the first week of June, he booked us a trip!
 We escaped in Vegas!
 We ate amazing food!
And Bianca and I saw Celine Dion!
It was a great show and an even better time with friends!
While we were in Vegas, Madi enjoyed VBS with the cousins.

Then when we got back we picked her up from Jayton in time to see her Roswell cousins!
And Uncle Rod was released from the rehab hospital.  This smile says "I'm happy to be going home!"
Then the cousins came into town to see Uncle Rod so they stayed with us the next night!
Enjoying cookies after the hot tub and baths!
Tucker's breakfast was smiling at him!
 And Madi's was surprised!
It's been a great week traveling with friends and seeing almost all of the cousins in the same week!

Cousin Camp 2019

Tripp at his new life guarding job!
Madi's tomato plants from her Grandma and Grandpa Heider are doing great!

Sunday morning before church I suggested we try the new Shipley's Donuts that came to town.  Apparently everyone else in Lubbock had the same idea so off to Rise 'n Shine (our favorite!) we went!
Sunday afternoon, we took our girl to Jayton for a week of Cousin Camp!
VBS, the pool, golf cart rides and more are filling their days!
Uncle Rod continues to improve every day.
Here we are outside enjoying a nice walk!

First Week of Summer!

We started summer off with a fun bridging ceremony where Madi moves from Girl Scout to Cadet!

The leaders Sarah and Angela made it super fun with a "bridge, balloons, snacks and more!

The troop all wearing their new vests/sashes!

Sarah has been the BEST troop leader ever!
We love our Girl Scout . . . I mean Cadet!
The girls all enjoyed snacks and playing.  The moms took the leaders out for a fun celebration dinner!
Tripp got his license too!  He's now legal so watch out world!
Following in her Daddy's foot steps . . . throwing dice!

Family game night and the girls wanted to join in!

Her hair is getting so long!
She's not too excited about summer swim being at 7:45am every morning.
Raeley and Madi joined me and Amy up at work a few days this week.  They love the fountains, walking to the SUB for lunch, . . .
 Drawing on our board . . .
And the Creative Corner where they made all kinds of fun crafts!
We took Grandma Mayberry to lunch one day and enjoyed sitting outside!
Madi's good friend Gracie that moved last February came to town this week.
So of course we had to have Gracie and Devyn over for a slumber party!
They wanted to see Gracie's old house so we took a walk over to see it.
We have so many fun things planned for summer!  We are ready!
