Easter Celebration!

 Saturday morning, we met the cousins at our church for some fun activities!

 First, we listened to the Easter story.  It never gets old hearing the story.

 And last but not least - Bounce House!  

We met Grandma Mayberry and Grandma B at Blue Sky for lunch and got to see Grandpa and Daddy play the 12th hole on the golf course!

 Tucker wanted Uncle Matt to fix something on his computer.  I got a kiss for it getting fixed!  Fair trade in my opinion!

 Aunt Shelle forgot their baskets for the egg hunt.  We made do!

Aunt Shelle told Tripp he had to run backwards and Madi and Tucker had to hop while Maci just ran.  It made it pretty fair plus it was hilarious watching Tripp run backwards and the other two hop everywhere!

We are very thankful for the miracle of Easter.

4-Day Week #1

 We couldn't let Monday, April 10th pass without telling Grandpa Mayberry Happy 69th Birthday!

 Monday

 Tuesday - Not sure what's up with the shoulder rolls!

 Friday we met the cousins for lunch at Chick-fila then spent the afternoon at Adrenaline City.

 They loved the Ropes Course.

 Laser tag was fun too.

 And the trampolines were also great!

We are thankful for a 4 day week and a 4 day weekend!

Father-Daughter Lunch

 Saturday evening we went to the Foley's for a cookout and to relax along with the Wharffs.

 The kids played for hours outside while we sat and visited.  It was a great night!

 Sunday after church was the Father-Daughter lunch at church.

 These two didn't even try to match! 

 They sent this picture of them enjoying the lunch.

 Meanwhile I had my favorite salad from Market St. and went and got a pedicure.

 Sunday afternoon we spent a few hours at Bodyworks for Jennifer's party.

 This place is kid heaven!

And I had fun visiting with friends!

Grandma B is 90!

 I'm not sure if 50th St. Caboose is where Grandma B wanted to spend part of her 90th birthday but she was a good sport since the kids love it there.

 Madi made her the big Happy Birthday poster in the back. 

We also made her a 90 shirt with fabric markers and then everyone signed their name and the kids did a little decorating too.

 After a yummy dinner and gifts . . . it was time for the games!

 We celebrated with strawberries and angel food cake since that is Grandma B's favorite.

All had a great time celebrating 90 years!

Sick Day

 Sunday night is now family game night declared Madison! 

 If given the choice, all the puppies will be as close to Madi as possible or sitting on her like GV did while we played Great States.

 Monday

 Ms. Janda, who we carpool with, said Madi closed her eyes on the way to school Monday.  Well when I picked her up from piano she seemed fine but I asked how she felt.  She said good but that her ear hurt a little.  I waste no time so off we went to the doctor.  Sure enough she had strep, no fever, no sore throat . . . go figure! 

I had to travel to Snyder Tuesday so thankfully Madi can stay home all day by herself now.  Daddy did a little bit of work from home and Grandma brought her a yummy lunch after one of her appointments.  Madi surprised me with this drawing she did while I was working.  Definitely have to frame this one!

 All better Wednesday morning.  Although, she did ask me on Tuesday morning, "Mom, why do I have to stay home if I feel fine?"  :)

 Thursday

 We went out to dinner Thursday night to BJ's which is very rare for us to do.  Madi loved her rootbeer in a mug. :)

 We sent a quick Happy Birthday picture to Grandma B who is turning 90 today!  We have more celebrating coming up tonight! 

Friday

Glad I was able to blog the week already since I know this weekend will be super busy with fun events!

April Fool's Day

 We try to fool her every year!

 And this year the frozen cereal got her!  She loved it!

 She fooled me writing April Fool's Day on my bathroom mirror with sticky notes.  Pretty clever!

 We met Grandma Mayberry, Grandma B. and the cousins to see Beauty and the Beast Saturday afternoon.  Such a good  movie!

 We switched our cable company and with our new service came a home phone line.  Well you would have thought it was the neatest invention of all time!  Madi couldn't wait to call everyone she knew.  She dialed each number then asked me "Mom, how do I press send?"  :) 

 Devyn came over to play and spend the night.

Sunday we enjoyed church, lunch with the Foley's and some tennis!  Now I'm off to enjoy a riveting game of Clue by the fire!
