Our little sharp-shooter!

Grandpa and Grandma Heider gave this BB gun to Madison for Christmas a few years ago.
She's been a little hesitant to actually shoot it until this afternoon.
She hit the can 4 out of the first 5 times shooting!
Definitely a sharp-shooter!

Madison's 2015 Christmas Piano Recital

We arrived at Madi's piano recital a little early so we waited in the truck and took some pictures.

 Time to head inside!
 So proud of our girl!
 She played beautifully!
She seems so little when she's all alone up there playing.
She was the ninth to play out of about 30 students.
This Christmas recital always puts us in the Christmas spirit!

Gingerbread House!

Day 5:  Fred left an elf picture for Madi to color of him!
A paper airplane train????
Madi wanted to buy these leg massagers at Bed Bath & Beyond.
Saturday afternoon was spent decorating a gingerbread house!
First step, build the house with icing!
Then hold for a full minute.
While it dried for 15 minutes we went outside and put out Yoda and Darth Vader to finish up our Christmas decorations.
Then came the fun part of decorating . . .
All done!  It was so cute!
Day 6:  Fred put Santa hats on all of our family pictures.
I guess he's letting us know Christmas will be here before we know it.

Sunday School Christmas Party!

Madi and I made an ugly Christmas sweater for Matt to wear to our Sunday School party.
We also each bring a white elephant gift to do an exchange . . . :)
My white elephant was a hit and so was Matt's accounting text book.
Our friends, the Foley's, hosted and we enjoyed a fun evening with our Sunday School class.
I wore an old sweater of my mom's.  Madi said "Mom, your sweater's not ugly, it's cute!"

Fred's Back!

 Monday
Tuesday - The first day of December!
Day 1:  Fred is back!  He arrived in a cute Christmas mailbox with a letter for Madison.
That means we start all the wonderful advent calendars from Grandpa and Grandma Heider, our church and Grandma and Grandpa Mayberry.  :)
Day 2:  Fred missed his snowman friends from the north pole.
Adyson and Aubyn rode with us Wednesday morning so a little early morning coloring was in order.
Wednesday
All ready for school!
 Being silly!
Day 3:  Fred wanted to play a little golf like Madi and her Daddy.
Thursday
Day 4:  Fred loves Madi.  He brought her an elf snow globe to keep.
Friday - Dressed ready for pictures with Santa
Madi showed us her elf ears on the way to dinner Friday night.
Christmas will be here before we know it!

The Weekend after Thanksgiving

We were going a little stir crazy staying inside because of the cold, icy weather.
So we decided to go see The Good Dinosaur at the Alamo Draft House Theater.
Madi's hair choice is a top bun these days.  I don't mind.  They're easy!

We ordered our drinks and popcorn so we were all set!
Not that great of a movie but it was nice to get out a bit.
After the movie we walked around At Home and a few other stores looking at Christmas decorations.
We had lunch at McAlister's so I took a picture of the carriage ride schedule so we could be sure to go one evening.
Then we played some more Mexican Train with Madi.
Our first annual Looking at Christmas Lights Night!
Complete with hot chocolate and popcorn!

Grandma came to church with us.
We did a little dress shopping for her upcoming piano recital.  We didn't choose this one but I thought she looked so grown up.
Great friends remember when you say "I'd love that necklace" and surprise you with it later on.  :)
It was a nice ending to a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.
