2 Weeks in 1

 Biscuit making Sunday morning . . .
Madi invited Maisen to Sparks and they both had a blast!
 Monday
 Tuesday
 Wednesday
Cup of Yo after school with Addison, Abyn and their mom!
I sent this to my mom because this would always happen to her as I was growing up!
Wednesday night was Matt's first day of class so we sent him a "thumbs up" picture on his way!
Madi dressed Sarah in her ballet costume.
 Thursday
Sent this to Matt as he was on his way home from class.
 Friday
Madison's asking to be dropped off further and further from the door.  Growing up!
Madison H. & Madison P. have the same hat!
Rosas for dinner Friday night and Madi made tortilla heart
This is so Aunt Shelle.  She doesn't deny it one bit.
Saturday morning, Madi had a play date at Addison's house so we walked over at noon to pick her up with Chicke.

Madi saw some of Maci's (that used to be Madi's!) footy pjs and has been asking for some ever since.  Well we found a pair in her size at Kohl's.  Matt can't believe she wanted these when she used to throw a fit as a baby having to wear them!
The 100th day of school is coming up so we used 100 buttons of Aunt Bevie's and glued them to a shirt.
We started taking Addison to school with us since she lives a few streets over.  It makes going to school more fun when you have a friend!
 Monday
My new favorite snack while doing homework.
 Tuesday
Tripp had a dentist appointment and soccer game by our house Tuesday night so we had a cousin dinner at Rosa's.
 Wednesday
 Thursday
 Finally Friday!
Life just got busy with both of us taking classes!  So 2 weeks in 1 was a must.  :)

Back to School

 Madi's lunch of 10!
She's been asking for 10 summer sausage slices, 10 cheese slices, 10 chips and 10 tomatoes for lunch.  Silly!
Tried to get a picture of Madi using her hand warmer on the way in to church but it was too bright and cold so this is the picture I was able to get.
Once inside I was able to get better pictures!

Sunday night all the cousins spent the night at Shelle's house with Grandma (Aunt Shelle and Uncle Cody were in California and Matt and I had to work on Monday).
Matt had a staff day on Monday so he took Madi to dance where they saw her costume for the dance recital in May.
Monday night at Swim Practice we were able to pick up her medal for participating in the Swim Meet back in December.
 Back to School Tuesday Morning
 Wednesday
 Thursday

 Friday
I saw this on Facebook with a warning about bringing your pets inside during cold weather so I sent it to Shelle and told her we needed to make sure Grandma never saw this or it would give her ideas about bringing in her donkeys.
Shelle responded with "That looks like mom in the picture!"

Madi & Daddy DAYS

There has been a lot of Daddy & Madi Rock Band going on the past few days . . .

There have also been quite a few games of Old Maid and Uno.
I thought it was sweet when Madison asked where my purse was so she could put hers by mine.  She got this cute purse and fun dress up stuff to put in it from the Nebraska Cousin gift exchange with Matt's cousins.
 Another Chickfila Cousin lunch.
We have to make up for lost time!
I finally hung our family pictures.  Matt was happy that I just used frames I already had.  This way I can change them out more often since I plan on having family pictures taken at least once a year.
Matt texted me a picture of how he used a pizza box to prop the iPad up while he walked on the treadmill.  Irony?
I needed to go into work on Thursday and Friday of this week so Matt and Madi had a few fun days planned.

Thursday they went bowling!

Matt sent me this video of Madi bowling.

Then they went to PetsMart to look at all the animals.
Then walked next door to the library and checked out a book.
Then they walked down two more stores and ate lunch at Soup Or Salad which is Madi's favorite place.  I always veto it when she suggests it so Matt is a nice Daddy and takes her there from time to time. :)
Friday morning they went to Walmart and then home for lunch.
Madi said she wanted to do something fun so Matt bundled her up and they tried out Safety City.
It's a kid-sized "city" complete with traffic signs, lights, etc. so kids can ride their bikes freely while also learning about traffic safety.  I've been wanting to go for a while but it just hasn't worked out so I'm glad they went today.  They both said it was fun so we will be going back soon!
They stopped for a dip cone on the way home!
I love being able to work late since I know the two Ms are having fun together.

This & That

 More Cousin fun with flashlights!

They played the "Stacking Cups" game for hours!
I tried a while back to blow dry Madi's hair straight like she asked, but it was a little too painful for her.  Well, she asked again a few days ago so we tried it and it was successful!
Her hair definitely looks longer when straight.
And to me she looks a little older.
 Straight like Momma's hair!
 Not twins with Sarah anymore.
I took this picture of our straight-haired girl while at Sam's and sent it to Shelle. She couldn't believe how different she looks without that curly bob of hair.
A little light saber action happened that afternoon . . .

We finally hung up Madi's new bulletin boards in her room.
Now she can display all her "creations" that usually liter her desk and floor!
