Meet Mrs. Olivarez!

 Meet the Teacher night was last Thursday evening.

Madi picked her cubbie and seat and then looked through her supplies.

The school raised enough money last year to buy ALL the supplies.  

That was a nice touch!

 This is Madi's second hug with Mrs. Olivarez.

 We talked through her schedule and she seemed very excited about recess the most.  :)

 Sunday night (the night before school) we headed up to her playground at school so she could play and see it again before the first day.

 The playground is pretty fun!

 I think this really helped!

She went right to bed ready for the BIG day!

Almost Time for School!

 As summer is winding down, we are trying to enjoy the last few days before school starts! 

We tried Red Mango for a change in hopes they had more flavors that Matt would like.

Success!

 Madison asked for me to take her picture one morning.  I guess in preparation for a daily picture once school starts!

 Last Friday night, we had a barbeque at the Dean's house.

They had bubbles for the kids to play with!

 Madi and Margaret play so well together.

Thank goodness they have each other as Stephanie and I are working a bunch together.

 Saturday night, we went to the Foley's for a cook out with all the families of Matt's bible study group.  They meet every Friday morning at 6:30am at Market St. 

So we thought it would be good for all of us to hang out once and a while.

 There were 10 adults and 12 kids!

Perfect for a dance party!

All we need now is for school to start!

 We visited Matt's family in Roswell this past weekend and got a great picture of all the grandkids!

 Helping Grandpa pick the garden is a must!

 She even found an empty egg.

It was such a fun day of visiting family!

New Schedule

These last few weeks we have been finding our new "normal."

There's still a bunch of sandbox time though. Especially with all the rain we've had!

And silly pictures . . .

Madi and her Daddy took advantage of the cool weather last week and played golf one evening.

I asked for a few pictures and I got these with her hands in the air.  :)

Uncle Cody sent us this picture of Madi jumping the ramps!

Matt picked up Madi from the pool one afternoon and she took a bath right when they got home.  I get this picture and a text saying "she picks her own hair now?" 

I think he was partly surprised and sad that she's getting so big and secretly REALLY happy all at the same time.

When I was cleaning off my pictures from my phone I found this one and I can't remember blogging it.

It was in late February or early March since we were packing up to move to our new house.

Heider Family Game Night! 

 Matt bought Sorry! at the store so we could have a family game night!

It's the perfect game for us.

Because of time, we only played with two game pieces each.  It's hard to tell in this picture but my two red pieces are still at home and Madi's two yellow pieces already won. 

She was pretty happy about winning!

While Mom is working . . .

 Madi has been all over the place . . . 

One day Stephanie and I brought the girls to work with us. 

Dr. Button was using them as reference points for our new HUGE wall calendar. 

 The best part of going to Mom's work is the elevator (and/or stairs) and second best is looking at the fountain. 

 One day Matt kept Madi and Margaret while we worked because the cable guys were scheduled to come out that afternoon.

They went and saw Turbo in the morning at the mall movie theater.

Getting candy . . .

 Visiting Barnes and Noble before the movies starts . . .

 And then back at home playing outside while the cable guys set up our new TVs.

 Dr. Button sent us this as a possible layout of our office.  :)

She's very thorough!

 Another time, Madi spent the night with Aunt Shelle and all the cousins. 

Pizza for dinner!

 She took Fluffy along (with new batteries) and Shelle sent this pic saying that Fluffy was a hit!

 Chick-fila the next morning.

I sure miss the Chick-fila dates, but thankfully I love my new job!

Messy Maci

 I just have to share a few pictures of our life with our crazy niece. 

Aunt Shelle was on the phone so Maci decides to put on some mascara.

 We were actually impressed with how much she got on her eyelashes.

 Maci wants to do everything Madi does.

Which includes wearing Madi's flippers! 

Maci adds a little spice to all our lives!
