A Super Long Post!

Madison is 18 months old already! Where has the time gone? Madi is now running everywhere, playing with her baby dolls more, and even taking interest in the potty! I can't tell you how happy that makes me and oh yeah, Matt too!

Matt has been saying for a while that Madi needs her own chair to sit in. Well, we found one at Wal-mart the other day. Madi fell in love with it immediately and carries it to every room with her.
Our little model . . .

Madi has started to take an interest in my shoes . . . uh-oh, not a good thing for the future! At least she only picks ones that match her outfit and eachother.

I told you she loves that pink chair!

She can even wear my flip-flops!

Last weekend, Ethan and Owen brought their parents to Lubbock to see Thomas the Train and Madi. We went to eat then to the park. It was a fun day! We got them to sit still long enough for a few pics.

Easter, Poptarts, Madi Potter, Chicke 'n Noodle & a Very Sweet Husband!

On Easter we went to Shelle's house for a cook-out and egg hunt after church. I'm hoping Matt will post about church since we worked in the nursery (well Madi's 18 mo. old room) and he was SOOO nervous about it. It went well but I'd love to get his take on it. Here's Madi with her treasures!

Here's our sweet girl before church. I tried to get something other than pink for her Easter dress. Well I shouldn't have because the whole time I was thinking she looked like she was going square dancing. Matt assured me that she looked cute, but as we entered the church he started singing under his breath "Grab your parter, Do-si-do!" I could have killed him!

I love her big eyes in this pic.

It amazes me how big of a mess she can make with the smallest thing. She had a part of a pop-tart for breakfast and I'm not really sure how much she ACTUALLY ate.

My mom's friend made these adorable outfits for Chicke 'n Noodle so I had to get a picture even though they HATE putting clothes on.

The outfits even come with this handy-dandy handle to hold the dogs by. I almost peed in my pants when Matt picked them both up. I still laugh about it as I'm typing this. Too funny!

I have been spring cleaning like crazy the last few weeks and came across these Harry Potter glasses I got Matt for his birthday. Well Madi loved them so much she thought she'd just wear them. Again, I have never laughed so much at one time.
Here's our very own Madi Potter!

I wanted to end this post on a sweet note. I have the sweetest, most thoughtful husband. Matt was making my father-in-laws hot sauce recipe and made me a not-as-hot version since I love hot sauce but not too hot! How sweet is that? It was excellent by the way!

100 Days

Last weekend we went to the lake for many celebrations. First, we were celebrating Grandpa's 100 Days of NOT SMOKING. He just decided to give it up last Christmas Eve and hasn't smoked since. Way to go! He was such a good sport to wear the "100" shirt and hat we made for him. We then enjoyed cupcakes in the shape of 100.

Here's Grandpa with all 4 Grand-kiddos!

Chicke 'n Noolde celebrated with us too!

Madi LOVES being on her Daddy's shoulders. I'm sure it's for the great view!

Yummy, yummy chocolate cupcakes with white icing.

My favorite!

Awwww . . . sweet kisses!

Here's Tut-tut.

The second celebration was for my dad's 61st Birthday on the 10th. We all went in together to get him a new driver. He and Matt have been golfing alot lately so we thought he could use one.
I think he liked it!

Here are the kiddos in the hottub. What a tough life!

We also decided to celebrate Easter at the lake since we wouldn't be seeing Grandma and Grandpa next weekend. We told the kids that the Easter Bunny came early to the lake since he heard they were going to be there. Madi liked gathering the eggs and putting them in her basket and yes she is wearing her pajamas to hunt eggs!

I don't know why she likes to sit like that!

Look closely . . . Madi took all the candy out of the eggs and sorted them by color. Notice the purple ones all together and the yellow ones all together??? She did that by herself. It could be coincidence but of course her parents believe it's just good genetics! ha!

This and That . . .

Last weekend we got together with my cousins from my mom's side for our Birthday Celebrations. We ate a yummy supper at 50th St. Caboose and then played games in the arcade.
Here's Morgan & Tucker.

Here are all the kiddos . . .

After Matt had his wisdom teeth out over Spring Break we went to the lake to see my parents for a few days.

Here's Madi and her Daddy enjoying the water.
Grandma giving Madi one of MANY kisses.

Matt is an animal magnet at my parents' house (which really isn't hard to be when they have two dogs and seven cats).

Me and Madi out on the dock.

If you look real close in the middle of the picture, you can see Noodle. We've never known her to go so far from us. I guess she was enjoying the great outdoors.

Grandma and Madi giving a kitty kisses.

Of all the animals (including our own) Madi LOVES Ruff. She can't get enough of him.

Sunday night after the Cousins' Celebration we ate pizza and played American Idol on the Wii at Shelle's house. I decided to get a few pics of sweet Tut-Tut (as Madi calls him).
This picture is precious. He folded his hands himself. What a gentleman!

Too cute!

Mommy and baby smiling at eachother.

There's that tongue again (must be a family thing).

Another great laughing shot.
