Tuesday since no school on Monday!
I started a new tradition of packing something fun in Madi's lunch leading up to Valentine's Day. First up were airheads to share with all of her friends.
Madi's plate finally came in from Clay Cafe when Devyn was in town visiting.
Tuesday evening was cold enough for a fire so Madi showed the puppies how to enjoy it!
We woke up Wednesday to snow and even better . . . A SNOW DAY!
Madi and I barely moved from the couch all day! It was great!
Thursday
Her Valentine's lunch surprise was a big Twix, her new favorite candy!
Friday was the regional science fair so she spent the day at the United Spirit Arena at Tech.
We met her for lunch when the group walked over to Cowamungus on campus but otherwise she was on her own. She took this picture as she was waiting on the judging to start!
She said two judges loved her project. She ended up with a second place ribbon. We think that that means she doesn't move on to the next round, but we couldn't be prouder of her!
At work, we celebrated one of my site coordinators, Sarah, and her second baby boy on the way.
Shortest week ever for Madi . . . only two days at school! Bring on the weekend.
