Austin Bound!

Before we headed out on one last trip over the Christmas break, the cousins came and spent a few days with us!
We went out to eat, swam in the hot tub and played games at 50th Street Caboose.  There must be something in the genes because all of these cousins are great at the claw machine!
Thursday afternoon we met our friends the Foleys at the airport to head to Austin.
Their kids have never flown so we got cheap tickets to Austin and decided to make a trip of it.
We arrived and everyone enjoyed the flight!
The first night there we stayed with the Isbells in Georgetown.  It was great seeing them and their beautiful house!  Madi wore her brave necklace (in morse code)
We went to many toy stores in downtown Austin!

Then we checked in our hotel so the kids could swim!

That night we walked down to Amy's ice cream.
And took pictures in front of the "I love you so much" famous wall!

The next day we toured the state capitol and went through the museum.

We took the kids shopping at an outlet mall and they had a blast buying stuff.
Then we went to Claire Isbell's birthday party at Catch Air!  It was such a fun place for the kids.
Bianca and I found these massage chairs and decided to indulge!
They were so good that the guys decided to do it too after us!

A few of the crew started to feel sick but thankfully after resting most of Sunday we were able to make our reservation at Lockout Austin.
They had a wizard room especially designed for kids and it was great!
On our last day in Austin, we went to Sprinkles so we could buy a cupcake from a vending machine.
The cupcakes (and cookies) were amazing!

Then we went to Dave and Busters for lunch and some play time before heading to the airport.

The kids had a blast on our trip to Austin.  We are so thankful for friends that we also love to travel with any chance we get!
