Bruno Mars Tribute

We got home from Cabo then two days later had tickets to see the Bruno Mars Tribute at the Cactus Theatre with Katy & Elly.  The girls went last year and wanted to go again. But first we ate dinner at Triple J across the street. 

Then it was time for the show! 

The theatre is so cute and has great effects! 

 I was so proud of myself for staying up for it but was then surprised when it was just intermission and I thought I had made it the whole night without complaining. :) 

But I still made it after a little complaining! Great show! 

Cabo

 

Madi has been wanting to go to Cabo so we finally made the trip this July! 

The Norrises joined us too! 

It was a super early flight out of Lubbock but we landed in Cabo at 8:30am!

Our resort, Pueblo Bonita, was gorgeous! 

It's in the side of the mountain so you take golf carts down the winding roads!

We quickly checked in, found the pool, had lunch then cleaned up for dinner!

We went to a cute 50s Diner and then checked out the Market for ice cream!

The next morning Matt and I went and explored.  

The beach was so pretty so we picked a pool that overlooked it!

We spent our days by the pool!

Then we'd head back to our rooms to rest and shower for dinner. 

Our patio was amazing and had a great view of the beach. 

Plus it was cool enough to be outside most of the time. 

I think it's obvious we all got a little sun!

We went to an out door Japanese restaurant that was so good!

There was a chair over the place Elly got sick the first day.  We thought it was funny like it was memorialized. :) 

The next day had an amazing Sunday brunch.  Every breakfast was amazing but this one took the cake!  

The hot tub overlooked the beach too.  Such gorgeous views!

The girls met lots of friends.  One of the guy's grandpa took pictures for us.  Even he said "Well, the wall looks good." HA!

Dinner the 3rd night was a The Bistro.  It's the only time we sat indoors the whole week!

The sky pool was high up the mountain but so beautiful overlooking the resort and beach. 

Then dinner! 

The next day at the pool I noticed Madi got new earrings for her new piercings. 

Dinner the last night was a Mexican Party complete with a Mariachi band!  We loved eating outside on the patio with new friends we met from Seattle. 

The next day we were up SUPER early again for our drive to the airport then after a few delays got to our house in Lubbock around 11pm. 

It was a long travel day but we had so much fun.  Cabo we will definitely be back! 

Maci's 13th Birthday!

Maci celebrated her birthday the day before we left for Cabo.  She had friends from Jayton and Lubbock join!  They first jumped at Altitude . . . 

Then they came to our house for lunch and swimming! 

Can't believe she's a teenager! 

Tuck wasn't there but he's busy washing cars this summer! 

Wish he lived closer!
