Lots of Celebration!

I spent some of last week in San Antonio at a conference. 

We did a little work . . . 

And we played a lot!

Friday night, Madi celebrated Ava's 16th birthday! 

Saturday morning we celebrated Kym's 40th birthday with brunch at The Fresh American. 

Saturday night we celebrated Rylee's Sweet 16!  

Madi was part of Rylee's candle ceremony as one of her church friends. 

I tried taking a family selfie . . .

Then thankfully Amy took some for us. 

After dinner and the candle ceremony, there was a daddy/daughter dance. 

We had fun hanging out with the Foleys and Devitts. 

After all the fun, we went to King Louie's for a few more snacks with the Foleys. 

Whew. So much celebrating. But SO fun. 

Busy Doesn't Begin to Describe It!

Dinner with Robyn, Bianca & Amber is always fun! 

Tuesday of last week, I went to Waco to visit our teacher candidates and to meet with the Superintendents of Waco ISD, Lorena ISD and La Vega ISD about a grant we received. 

We got home just in time for us to join Bianca's surprise birthday dinner at Funky Door! 

While we were at dinner, Madi and Elly did the physical skill test for lifeguard certification.  The 3 day training is in April. 

We hosted 16 10th grade girls for DNOW this past weekend. So Saturday night we went with the Norrises to Triple J for dinner then planned to go to the symphony.  We were all too tired (AND FULL!) so we opted to go home after. 
But this guy enjoyed cutting his steak! 

Madi's group won the skit contest! 

They had so much fun based on the noise level in our house! And the amount of snacks consumed! 

Matt & I need a weekend from our weekend. 

First Job Application, More Earrings & More!

Love that we can support an old friend and her new cookie business! 

This is the face of a girl that applied to her first big-girl job at HTeaO!  Then a number of other fun places to work.  Hopefully one of them can work around her crazy busy schedule! 

So we celebrated with more earrings!  I think she has 9 total now. :) 

Then we see memories like this and can't believe where the time has gone . . . 

Which is probably why matt still does silly stuff like this with her fruit and snack to make her smile. 

We are so excited for Leighton's first day at her new school this Tuesday! 

Morgan said she didn't want to take a picture.  She wanted down to go see what all this was about. 

We just know she's going to love her teachers and friends.
