Sweet Summertime!

Umm, not sure what to think of this.  I don't think Biscuit did either. 

SO sweaty after Peak workout. 

Saturday night, Allison asked Madi to play with her in a sand volleyball tournament.  It was our first time but it sure was fun!

They won the first game in the gold bracket but then lost the second.  Sure was fun playing under the Saturday Night Lights!

I know what she's getting for her birthday this year . . . 

Every time she sees these pet balloons that you can "walk" she just has to try it out!

Love when they use our girl's pic to advertise our Youth program!

Had to meet up with some great friends for an impromptu happy hour last Friday! 

Summertime really is the sweetest time!

Quick Roswell Visit

When we found out that Aunt Erin, Uncle Cody and all the Dodson cousins would be in Roswell, we had to make a trip over!  Madi thinks the aliens are so weird. 

We had such a good time eating good food and catching up. 

Thankfully, Grandpa Heider is great about taking pictures!

Uncle Matt thought he was so funny having Leo help him carry in his beer. 

I remember when this swing set used to be big for them . . . 

Hopefully the next visit won't be so long away! 

NCL Volunteering!

Madi and I started off our volunteer hours for the year right away! 

We served at the South Plains Foodbank with Amy and Raeley.  It was fun packaging oranges for families. 

Then the next week we volunteered at Habitat for Humanity's Restore with the Norrises. 

We cleaned the store, organized items, then the girls redressed the mannequins in the display windows.

We met some new friends too!

We also made puppy cookies for the Morris Safe House!

We love that NCL provides us opportunities to volunteer at new places with friends. 

Vegas!

While Madi was at the lake with Aunt Shelle, Matt and I snuck away with the Norrises and Devitts to Vegas for the long weekend! 

We didn't take very many pictures and these are in no particular order!  We just gambled, walked around, visited and ate good food! 

We all had the best time and can't wait to go back!

Madi spent Memorial Day weekend with Aunt Shelle & fam at their lake house!

Madi loved surfing and did her fair share!  I think we got 10-12 videos!
