New Year's Eve!

We met the Tullos family to see all the girls during their visit home then we met with the Lewises, Norrises and Devitt's for a quick happy hour!  We are definitely enjoying our break! 

Madi is still going to Peak a couple times a week.  She's in the blue sweatshirt toward the back left.

All the kids celebrated at the Buxkemper's house while we went to a fun NYE celebration!

Such good friends to ring in the new year!

I was worried about making it until midnight so we would randomly take pictures and seemed to take one each hour leading up to midnight!

We danced, ate, visited and had fun all night long!

Christmas 2021

Christmas Eve morning, Fred, Winter and Violet left gingerbread houses and a bunch of candy and icing for the kids to decorate!  

Let the mess, I mean, fun begin!

We went to church at 3:30pm and had hot chocolate and cookies afterward. 

Then we met Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Rod at BJ's for dinner before heading to our house to open presents!

Everyone must have been good!

Then the kids played a few more rounds of Left Right Center.  Tripp won both games but was nice and gave each of them some money! 

We ate cookies and ice cream and then headed to bed!

December 15:  The elves spent the morning reading the Christmas Story. 

Christmas morning there were a few things in stockings and a few more presents. 

Madi received mostly clothes, bracelets and money.  

Matt loves Man Soap as we call it so Santa loaded him up!  

She loved the Morse code bracelets that say WWJD and HWLF. 

And she was super surprised by a fun record player!

Now we need to find more records to play!

Everyone came over for a yummy pancake breakfast then we celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa Heider.   

And Grandma Heider made Matt a cherry pie for dessert so he had to send a picture to Aunt Erin and Uncle Jake to brag! 

Then he teased them with the empty pie plate!

It was a Merry Christmas, indeed!

Pre-Christmas Eve Fun!

December 21:  Another chance, another loss!

Cousin fun started Wednesday morning!

December 22: Fred plus our cousins' elves Winter and Violet left some money and the game Left Right Center for the kids to play! 

They played twice - Tripp and Tucker were the winners!

Then we played a fun M&M game that Tucker won too!

Then we had a puzzle competition that Madi won!

Wednesday afternoon, we went to a Men's TTU basketball game!  

The Foleys got tickets too!

Half time means snack time!

Our kids made it on the jumbotron at least 9-10 times and Tripp caught a TTU t-shirt!

A little Phase 10 action!

Then we cooked fajitas!  Morgan, Tim and Mason came too!  We were able to give Mason his gifts and I think they were a hit!

Mason wanted to join in on the Phase 10 later that night!

December 23:  Fred left all sorts of movie candy for the cousins!  We went and saw Spiderman.  We didn't get any pictures.  Too busy getting Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Rod and all 13 of us in the theater on time! 

We also went by and visited Grandma B so we could give her our Christmas gifts!

Then we took Nala (Morgan's dog) to the park.

Then it was time to get creative and paint a Christmas picture!

After the movies, we took the kids to Santa Land and met up with the Foleys. 

It wasn't the biggest hit but it was a fun memory!
