Heading to Easter Service!
Madi fell in love with this high-neck romper maxi (I didn't even know what that was!) at Dillard's a few weeks ago. She looked adorable!
Madi's recent baptism was part of the announcements before the service started.
For our cousins' celebration, we decorated eggs!
Hunted Easter eggs (balloons) in the backyard by shooting the BB gun.
Then each kid had a scavenger hunt around the house leading to a prize egg with candy and money inside!
Then it was time for the traditional Easter egg hunt out front!
Maci brought her squirrel Sammie from Great Wolf Lodge and a small basket for her to collect eggs in. She asked Uncle Rod to help Sammie collect eggs.
Shelle and I cracked up as Uncle Rod took his job very seriously and made sure to hunt a few eggs for Sammie!
The kids ended the evening decorating cookies while the adults visited in the hot tub!
Easter morning, this one was excited! She loved the candy and fun donut towel.
Then it was time to hunt eggs . . . we hid them harder this year!
It also happened to be April Fool's day so those weren't really chocolate eggs for breakfast. They were grapes replaced in the wrappers. And her Gatorade later that day was really red jello! She loves practical jokes!
We were heading to the Foley's for another celebration so Madi broke out her chemistry goggles to help with making the jalapeno poppers!
All 8 kids helped fill the eggs and we hid over 200 for an epic Easter egg hunt!
We love our friends the Foleys and Gibbs.
The kids had a blast hunting eggs and playing all afternoon.
We had a great lunch of brisket, veggies, poppers and salad. Plus banana pudding and pecan pie for dessert.
The adults played a game until almost 7pm that night! It was a great way to celebrate Easter!
